There are two cabins off the lane leading to the manor. The west one is unlocked - open the door and enter. Examine the drawer to find a paper-clip. Push (or slide) the slab to enable you to journey underground. Lift the trapdoor and FEEL around in the dark. Examine all the furniture and take the newspaper and lighter. Retrace your movements and ENTER door to leave the tunnel. At the front door of the manor examine the keyhole. Slide the newspaper under the door, bend (or straighten) the paper-clip and use the resulting thin wire to poke out the key. Pull the newspaper back. KEEP HOLD OF THE KEY TO AVOID LOCKING YOURSELF OUT. Upstairs, enter the bathroom, take the chair and move South. LOOK UP. Drop the chair and stand on it to open the panel. Get the bucket in the attic. In the west bedroom take the credit card. Return to the locked cabin and use the credit card to gain access. Inside, you will find a squib. Fill the bucket at the pond where the water is deepest. Return to the manor. Examine the candelabrum - it is loose. Pull it to reveal a secret opening. Inside, take the flag. Take the rod and line and open the back door. Light the squib, throw it and empty the bucket of water to put out the resulting fire. Inside the shed is a ladder. Drop the ladder, climb the wall and jump down. The gate in the field is not high so merely climb over it. In a field, beyond the scarecrow, is a tractor. Examine it to find a flask of tea. Enter the church and listen to the vicar's advice. Take heed! Go to the stream, south of the bridlepath, and give the flask to the fisherman. Take the hook he offers you and tie it to the rod and line. Enter the bull's field. Wave the red flag, move south and THROW the flag. The bull will chase after it. Return to the bull's field, climb the tree, examine the hollow and use the rod, line and hook to fish the metal box out from the hollow tree. The key will fall out - back into the tree. Take the box, climb down and kick, clear or sweep away the fallen leaves. Examine the hollow. Above all, do not waste your time with the supernatural. It is better left alone.
