After about 30 "moves" the trinket shop will be open. A similar number of "moves" later a fisherman will appear near the tavern. Inside the village stores take the sack of flour. Inside the trinket shop examine the shelf and then the urn. Take the clod of earth and wash (or clean) it in the sea water. Inside is a ring. Talk to the fisherman - when the tide ebbs it will uncover a tombolo (a causeway to the island) from the beach. Go over to the island. Ring the bell and a man will appear. Talk to him and, seeing the ring, he will invite you inside his home. Choose a tarot card as requested. When darkness comes a lit lantern can be found outside the inn. Now that the parson has gone indoors go to the parsonage and take the trowel. Baines will be found inside the cottage on the coast road. Say that Tregareth sent you and take the compass he offers you. Avoid Snake Lane. With the compass go South on to the misty moors. Examine the compass and it will point you in the right direction - West then South. Enter the manor grounds and lift the window. Enter the house. In the study empty the sack of flour and then explore the house. When you hear footsteps in the study return and you will see footprints in the flour. They lead to a corner where there is a loose tile. Move the tile and pull the rope - enter the revealed secret passage. Examine the floor and lift the trapdoor. You can return to the churchyard from this new route. The crypt will be open so enter and go through the tunnel. On the shore, past the clump of trees, dig to unearth a chest - open it. Light the flare and return to the clump of trees. Go in amongst them and you will find a horse. Get it and then ride it to the shore and then South, safely, down Snake Lane. Back on the coast road you will meet the squire. Do not move or he will shoot. Shortly, Tregareth the tarot reader will tackle him. The church bell will toll. Enter the porchway into the church and talk to the parson. As the adventure ends you may remember the plaque in the Kingfisher Inn.
