REPTON INFINITY FAQ v1.0 ======================== By Jonathan Parkin 26th November 2008 e-mail: jonathan_parkin@hotmail.com Repton Infinity marked the popular green lizard's last hurrah. Released at a time when the BBC Micro and the Acorn Electron were being superseded, it marked the end of an era. The step up from Repton 3 came with the introduction of a new programming language that meant many new games with different rules could be produced with the same editing package. Additionally the game allowed you to load a new file and carry your score forward to this new file. Effectively it was the game that could if the player was very skilled go on for hours. One thread which tied the four commercial games released with the package - as well as any created ones - was the use of the "Minimum Score" which allowed you to either exit a current level, or if there was still points available continue As commercially released 'Repton Infinity' contained four games of eight screens divided into two parts; 1) Repton 3 - Take 2, the old classic with a few technical differences to the original game 2) Repton 4, a sequel featuring new items such as photocopiers, magic walls, magiblocks as well as some old favourites. 3) Robbo - A robot which had to perform various tasks including putting Coke cans into fridges, light bulbs onto Power Stations, and flushing computer discs down toilets!! 4) Trakka - A character in a JCB destroying various monsters with items of fruit!! Repton makes an appearance as an enemy!! A new Repton manoeuvre made an appearance as well which for the purposes of this FAQ I will call 'The Infinity Shuffle'. Simply put this is how it works. When the game engine which runs Repton Infinity performs a scan of the level, Repton is always allowed to move first. This permits Repton to stand underneath a rock then move down, left or right to collect a diamond and return underneath the rock before he is either killed or blocked in. This manoeuvre makes its first appearance in Level 3 of G.Rep3A This FAQ follows this original version of the game. The following write-ups will show you how to achieve the highest possible score on each level, without losing a life. In some cases this will be higher than the Minimum Score. (With the exception of G.RobboB Level 1) I have tested these thoroughly to make sure but if you discover a higher score please let me know REPTON 3 - TAKE 2 ================= The rules of this game were almost exactly the same as the original. However there were a few minor differences. 1) The game area was longer. Instead of the 24x28 area in Repton 3, the new eight screens measured 24x32 2) There was no limit on crowns, monsters or spirits. Additionally in the two final screens, monsters were free from their eggs. 3) Fungus, Monsters and Spirits could not travel through earth. In addition monsters and spirits could not share or pass through the same square. This was due to the programming language created for the game 4) A maximum of six transporters could be used as opposed to the original's four 5) Because of the "Minimum Score" there was no time bomb, and by implication no time capsules Additionally there was a small bug in the game related to fungus. If you collected a diamond and the fungus grew immediately killing you, the game wouldn't register that you had collected the diamond, thus you wouldn't be able to complete the screen. G.Rep3A - Level 1 ----------------- PASSWORD: Not Required MINIMUM SCORE: 1175 Begin by releasing the spirit from the bottom, then clearing him a path to the cage, leaving the diamond behind you. Move down and around this area you started in and make your way to the key, unblocking a cage. Collect the key and move out of the way so you don't get squashed under the falling rock. Take the three diamonds in this area. Retrace your steps left to the three rocks and the "Y" shaped structure of diamonds. Stack the left rock and the middle rock on top of the transporter, leaving sufficient diamonds to support them. Clear the bottom area, killing the monster and releasing the spirit, making sure you don't forget the diamond in the spirit chamber. The spirit you've just released will go in the cage you unblocked on your way to the key, not the cage in the bottom area. Leave this for now and make your way to the left side of the level. Make your way to the bottom. Roll the rock by the right wall off a diamond then release the monster. After he's dead push the rock left as far as it will go then collect the diamonds from the bottom. Release the two spirits behind the diamonds. The left spirit will go round the level and go into the cage in the bottom area - near the second spirit. The right spirit will go in the cage nearby. Clear a path to the cage between the two eggs, then move upwards. To release the spirit in the right chamber, take the diamond and earth away then push the rock one square then move out. The spirit will move down and go in the cage between the two eggs. Collect this diamond and the one below it to release the eggs. Move behind the rock you pushed to bring the spirit out and wait for the two monsters. Once they're dead push this rock fully out of the chamber, then collect the diamonds the eggs were standing on. The rock against this chambers left wall must be pushed out also. The remaining three you can just drop. Collect the diamonds in this area and leave. To clear the left chamber, drop the rock by the left wall onto the floor of the chamber then individually drop the rocks by the right wall and push them out. All you need to do now is collect the remaining diamonds. Move back to where you found the key and unblock the cage which leads to the top of the level. Return to the bottom area and release this spirit. When he cages collect any left over diamonds and ascend to the top of the level. Once you drop a rock down this corridor, you cannot go back. Make your way to the right hand wall and release the final spirit. When he cages go into the rock and diamond chamber nearby. Rolling rocks off diamonds stack all the rocks by the left wall as you go down and take the transporter. Take the four diamonds and take the transporter bottom left. You will arrive in the bottom right corner. Make your way up and round the dotted barrier then down then go up releasing the rocks. Push the lone rock to the right and collect the lone diamond at the bottom. Go up out of this area and clear it out. Return to the rock and diamond chamber, taking all the diamonds from the bottom upwards. Clear the rest of the remaining diamonds and crowns from the top of the level. G.Rep3A - Level 2 ----------------- PASSWORD: NGQGEHZO MINIMUM SCORE: 455 Move left to the fifth barrier then go down to the second row. Take out a piece of earth between the barriers immediately below you on the third row then drop the rock on the left into the gap. Proceed in the same vein until you get to the bottom of the level. Take all the diamonds from the bottom of the level until you reach the monster. Kill him with the nearby rock then push this rock all the way to the left wall. Continue right collecting the key. Go back left until the barrier with two rocks on top is to your left. Go up collecting the diamond then go right as far as you can go. Go back down then right to the dotted barrier and go up and over it. Continue upwards rolling rocks off barriers and skulls to get the two unlocked diamonds from the right side of the level. Make your way back to the bottom left corner and clear the left hand side now using the same method. You should have a clear path to the diamonds top right and the crown in the top left corner. If you're quick the fungus won't have blocked it off G.Rep3A - Level 3 ----------------- PASSWORD: SMLKURGB MINIMUM SCORE: 1880 Take the top transporter of the group of three, to take you to the top of the level. Clear a path to the cage then release the spirit from the right. Take the transporter near the cage. You'll arrive at the bottom of the level again. Move to the left allowing the stacked rocks to fall then push the bottom rock right allowing you to get out. Go round the dotted barrier and collect all the diamonds in this corner as you will be dropping a rock down here shortly. We'll now cage four spirits into the four wheels that form the centrepiece of the level. For identification purposes I will be using the four compass directions. Release the spirit near the East Wheel and send him into this wheel's cage. Go between the North and East Wheel and release the second spirit, by gradually rolling the rock downwards. Make your way round the North Wheel leaving the diamond on the far edge. Go along the top dropping the rock onto the earth then pushing it right. The diamond will prevent it rolling off the wheel and dazing the spirit. Unblock this spirit's access to the North Wheel, then when he cages take the nearby transporter. You'll arrive at the bottom left corner. Create a path to the West Wheel then carefully release the third spirit. Release the fourth spirit in exactly the same way as the second and send him into the cage in the South Wheel. After all this you should still have a block of diamonds between the North and West Wheels. These diamonds must stay in place until after you've caged the four spirits inside the wheels to guide them into the cages on the right. Unblock these cages then release the spirits in the North and East Wheels first. After they cage collect the un-caged diamonds, and release the spirits in the South and West Wheels. Roll the rocks off the skull and the diamond near the fungus, then unblock the fungus and drop the top rock on top of it. Roll the left rock next to the top egg off the diamonds then crack the bottom egg. After killing the monster with the rock next to it, use this same rock to kill the top monster. Clear all the diamonds from this central area then move to the un-caged diamonds on the right. Take the bottom chamber first using the Downward Infinity Shuffle to collect the two diamonds either side of the clustered barrier. Go upwards and just follow the ribbon of diamonds upwards. To kill the monster, roll a rock off one of the diamonds against the wall. Return to the area top left clearing it out and taking the transporter which will bring you back to your original start position. It's now just a simple matter of ignoring the transporters and clearing the rest of the chamber from the ground up. G.Rep3A - Level 4 ----------------- PASSWORD: UMZPTVTE MINIMUM SCORE: 1095 Just like the last level take the top transporter, then go up and push the rock next to you to get out. Drop the rock of its earth section and push this left. Without disturbing anything else, make your way to the rock blocking in the cage. Push it left then go up and around it, pushing it right. Unblock the cage then make your way to the spirit on the bottom of the level, collecting the two pieces of earth on top of the clustered barrier as you go. This will allow the spirit to pass over your head. Collect the diamonds in this section, leaving the blue earth next to the wall. Collect the two diamonds keeping the fungus back and drop the rock down. Use the second rock to hem the fungus in at the top when it has grown far enough. Go left then down, collecting the diamonds by the skulls and the key and enter the pyramid shaped structure. Kill the monster inside, clear it of diamonds and come back out. Enter the now accessible chamber in the middle. Collect the three diamonds around the rock in the walled section, rolling another rock off the dotted barrier and a diamond. Collect the remaining three diamonds. Enter the top left area and clear it out. Move the rock on the top right barrier over the chamber with three monsters as far as it will go. Release the spirit then when it's clear push the top egg left. Unblock the top cage in the diagonal line of cages and wait for the spirit to come back. When he cages, release the two spirits below by taking out the top diamond and they will go in the other two cages. Take the un-caged diamonds, then release the two rocks off the barrier and then collect the diamond next to the rock on the right so you have one rock next to the bottom egg. Go back up and left releasing the last spirit. Take the top diamond in the column to give it access to the cage. Then when he has cleared the monster chamber you can re-enter Drop the middle egg first then after this monster is dead, clear all the diamonds round the bottom egg - making sure it doesn't roll off a diamond and block you in and drop the top egg straight down. The fungus will kill either both or one of these monsters, the rock can be used to kill the other one. All that remains now is for you to clear the level of diamonds and crowns. You don't need to use the remaining transporters G.Rep3B - Level 1 ----------------- PASSWORD: Not Required MINIMUM SCORE: 1235 After taking the diamond left supporting the rock move right towards the column of rocks. Clear all diamonds from the left of this column then push the rock directly under the diamond right. Push the next three left and the top one right. Before releasing the spirit, collect the key and all the diamonds except the ones holding back rocks. Release the spirit and you should have sufficient time to unblock his cage before he comes back. Clear all the other diamonds from the right hand side of the pod shaped structure and release the last three spirits. The first two must be caged from the bottom. After clearing the diamonds from the top right corner make your way around the pod in the top left position, releasing the egg on the left as you go. Drop the two rocks onto the egg to your right. Go back to the rock blocking in your access to the clump of diamonds. Push this rock onto the clump and continue left, going up through the gap in the wall. Collect the diamonds left then go back right clearing this section, the rock needs to be pushed into the corner, so you don't block off the transporter. Make your way to back to the pod and enter from the bottom. Move to the egg on the left hand side, ensuring that the middle egg is still supported by diamonds. Release the left egg then move behind the column of rocks which includes the top egg. When the top monster dies kill the one next to you, then reposition the column of rocks over the egg bottom middle. After taking the diamond supporting three rocks, you can now clear the pod from the bottom killing the third monster. Return to your start position, going through the clump of diamonds which contains a second key. Stop below the block of four diamonds. Take the two diamonds on the left letting the left rock fall and pushing the rock on the right into the corner. Go straight up pushing the rock on the left and let the other two drop down, then collect the diamonds from the right hand side. To get out go back down, push the top rock in the column right, collect the remaining diamond then push the bottom rock as far as it will go. The final rock can be pushed to the left corner. Take the nearby transporter to the top of the level, and take the transporter top left blocking in your access to the crown. Push the egg right then release the rock cracking the egg. Release the rock above you on the left first, then the one on the right. This will kill the monster. Check you have all he diamonds except the top left corner then take the transporter blocking in the fungus. Crack the final egg and lure the monster down. Enter the area between the dotted barriers rolling the first rock you come to off its barrier. Now lure the monster into the area, and keeping him close you should be able to kill him with the third rock up. Roll the fourth rock up from the entrance off the barrier then the column of rocks off the diamonds. The rest is obvious. G.Rep3B - Level 2 ----------------- PASSWORD: EWEYSKNH MINIMUM SCORE: 1365 Go around the walled barrier to your right and go straight up. Push the bottom of the stacked rocks left to get the key. Enter the top half and when there is a gap in the spirits enter the chamber and collect the diamonds blocking in the cages. Depending on when you entered, all the spirits will have left or you will have a group following you. Make sure though when you are unblocking the cages that you take the diamonds either side as well so you don't daze the spirits. The best route is round the bottom of the chamber then the top. Remember though not to give the spirits a second entrance or they will go endlessly in a small circle. Once the spirits are caged you can clear the diamonds away, but leave the diamonds round the fungus. Go to the bottom right corner and clear it out, then enter the top half by the spirit chamber. Push the rock off the skull then collect the diamond next to it allowing it to drop off the walled barrier. Make your way to the top right corner clearing all the diamonds, then return to the curved walled barrier. Push the rock off the diamond nearby giving you access to the two diamonds below. Proceed to clear the top left corner then move towards the egg. Release it and you can collect the diamonds above and below. Move into the screen's bottom half, and clear the bottom left corner then proceed along towards your start position. You will need to collect the earth section to the left of the rock on top of the stacked skulls to give you access to the final diamonds. You can now collect all the diamonds around the fungus in the spirit chamber. Once you have done this go along the bottom of the level and approach the last egg from the left. You will now be able to collect the remaining diamonds G.Rep3B - Level 3 ----------------- PASSWORD: HJUPNROI MINIMUM SCORE: 1355 First the bad news, there are six monsters on this level free from their eggs. Four of which approach you from all angles at the start. The good news is they are easily dealt with. Take the diamond below you then go upwards three squares. Return to the crossroads and go left. If you time it right the monsters approaching you from the North and South will be behind you. As you leave the cross shaped structure you will be joined by a third. Go down towards the rocks and individually drop a rock behind each monster and kill him. The first two rocks can be pushed together, the third you will need to leave a gap. Return to your start position and release the fourth. Kill him with the same rock you used to kill the third monster. Release the nearby spirit then go to the transporter at the bottom of the level. Take it and return to the same place, unblocking the first cage and collecting the key. The spirit above you can be sent into the cage to its right. The spirit further up must go in the cage above it. The cage above the crowns must be used by the spirit roaming near where you released the first. The final spirit then can be caged in the bottom left corner. While he is caging you will have time to clear the left hand side of the screen. To kill the monster in the egg, drop the egg, then roll the rock top left off the diamond below it. Return to your start position clearing diamonds as you go, but leave the two diamonds behind the fungus for now. Lure the monster from between the clustered barriers and kill him with the nearby rock. Make your way back down to the bottom right section collecting the diamonds behind the fungus. In this area there is the final monster free from its egg as well as two in eggs. To kill the freed monster, go under it still keeping it in its chamber. Go left then up next to the transporter. Stop after you've collected the last diamond in this column, then using the Upward Infinity Shuffle collect the piece of earth above you freeing the monster. To your right is a column of rocks you can use to kill him. Clear the bottom right section, then all the diamonds in the diamond, leaving the rock on top of the transporter. You can use this rock to kill the last two monsters. When this area is cleared make your way top right. Go along the bottom, rolling the stacked rocks off the diamonds. Go through the transporter, and drop the rock next to you, collect the two diamonds next to it, then go straight down through the gap. The remaining diamonds should be easily collected. G.Rep3B - Level 4 ----------------- PASSWORD: PDLBDQCQ MINIMUM SCORE: 1245 Three more freed monsters populate this level, but again they are very easily killed. The first is below you, the rock you need is above you. Continue right towards the key. Clear this top right section, then return to your start position and continue downwards. The next freed monster is behind some now unlocked diamonds. The best rock for this monster is the one over the column of diamonds. The final freed monster should pose you no problems Move to the rock between two diamonds. Let it drop behind you then go left and down. Then use this rock to kill the monster in the egg above. Clear the above area then move down. Release the lone spirit then clear out this section. Make your way to the bottom left, leaving the hourglass structure for the time being. Clear the bottom left corner then make your way up the left hand side of the hourglass. When the first rock drops return down and push him off the barrier. Keep going upwards, towards the column of stacked rocks. Drop the first rock down then go left as far as you can go then collect the diamonds in a "U" shape. Proceed to the bottom of the hourglass. Going from left to right, take out the bottom row of diamonds then carefully empty the bottom of the hourglass. Enter the top of the hourglass and drop the next egg down and use a rock on the left curved wall to kill the monster. Empty the top of the hourglass, keeping the top row of diamonds intact. Exit from the top left and this will dislodge the rocks and crack the final egg. There should be a rock nearby to kill the final monster. Now go round the top and down into the small chamber. Keep the rock against the left wall on the earth, and roll the right rock off its diamond onto the curved barrier. Collect the key then use the Downward Infinity Shuffle to collect the diamonds. You can now collect the two diamonds against the right wall. All you need to do now is collect any remaining diamonds REPTON 4 ======== This was a sequel of sorts to Repton 3. In common with other Repton sequels old characters and game-play were retained, while new ones appeared. 1) Skulls and Monsters were retained, but altered to Skulls and Crossbones and Ghouls respectively. Spirits and Fungus were also retained but in their usual Repton 3 guise 2) Transporters were also retained, but the things that could use them were expanded. Spirits, rocks, ghouls, magiblocks and even fungus (!) could use them as well. 3) Jewels replaced diamonds and banknotes replaced crowns. Banknotes either existed independently or could be created by pushing a rock through a magic wall. 4) Photocopiers were new characters which essentially allowed magiblocks - another new character to be photo copied, but rocks, ghouls and spirits could be copied also The fungus bug from the Repton 3 - Take 2 screens was present in this set also, but it wasn't as critical due to only one of the eight screens requiring all of the tasks to be accomplished G.Rep4A - Level 1 ----------------- PASSWORD: Not Required MINIMUM SCORE: 850, POSSIBLE SCORE: 895 From your entry point exit and go right up the corridor towards the transporter but don't take it. Go back down towards the key and free the first spirit. When he passes you go up freeing the cage nearby, then continue up pushing the rock you come to past the cage in the middle of the wall. Retrace your steps back towards the photocopy room and enter the chamber between the skull and crossbones. Go down and left to collect the jewels. By now the spirit will have taken the transporter and photocopied. One spirit will go into the cage giving you access the second will go round the chamber. This next bit is quite tricky, but it can be done. When the spirit passes the jewel, use the Infinity Shuffle to collect the jewel then allow the bottom rock in the stack to fall and finally Repton Shuffle the top rock into the gap. Move out of the way of the spirit and collect the banknote. Release the spirit blocked in by the piece of earth, then make your way up to the top of the level. Collect all the jewels except the last one against the wall. Roll the nearby rock off this jewel and push it one square right. Push the egg onto the photocopier, and when the ghoul hatches, it will photocopy creating two ghouls. In all probability only one will be teased out, and you will have to go back to tease the second out. If this happens remember to push the rock one square only. When the ghouls are dead, go down past the photocopier and take the transporter. You will emerge in the previously inaccessible bottom left room. Clear all the jewels in this chamber, pushing the magi-block left as far as it will go, then exit through the now un-caged jewel and push the rock left through the magic wall. Return to the photocopier room and push the rock to enter. You need ideally to prevent the spirit from leaving, so if you can trap him at the bottom you'll be in good shape. Individually take the magi-block on top of the used copier and the magi-block to the right of the unused copier and push them up the corridor you took towards the ghouls. The magi-block in the bottom left room can be combined with them. Return again to the photocopier room, and copy the block next to the copier releasing the spirit. You won't need to worry about him, he won't bother you. Combine the three blocks and leave. Enter the top left chamber then clear all of the jewels by the left hand wall and around the top magi-block, leaving the jewel at diagonals to the magic wall untouched Perform a Left Infinity Shuffle to get the magi-block out of the way then perform the Repton Shuffle right to roll it off the jewel. Collect the jewel below to allow the rock to fall through the last two magic walls and the transporter. Clear the rest of the chamber, forming three magi-blocks in a line. Exit this chamber, go up then left when you reach the top and enter the small chamber you come to. Drop the rock at the top and push it right, then make your way left and down clearing the chamber from the ground up. Leave this chamber and take all the jewels blocking in the rocks, then return to the top left of the level. Drop the three groups of rocks to the bottom collecting the jewels at the top. Enter the final room, taking the jewel under the earth, then going down and right. Use the Downward Infinity Shuffle to collect the banknote, then step aside to let the rocks fall. Collect the final jewel. G.Rep4A - Level 2 ----------------- PASSWORD: LKKZBKVL MINIMUM SCORE: 1050, POSSIBLE SCORE: 1100 Go up from your start position, creating a path to the cage. Return then release the spirit. Push the two nearby formations of magi-blocks together then collect the un-caged jewel. Take the earth away in the photocopier chamber. Take the above passage left until you see a rock on top of the safe. Go upwards from this point and round to the top of the level, pushing the rock off the cage as you do so. Release the spirits. One of these will cage, a second will use the transporter. The spirit that transports will re-appear in the bottom of the level and go in the top cage. Return back through the passages, pushing the rock on the safe right into the photocopier room. Send the other two spirits into the area with the photocopiers. They will use both of the copiers creating four spirits. One will go into the cage, a second into the transporter, the other two will go round the level again. Go down to the bottom of the level, send the two rocks through a transporter then collect the un-caged jewel. Collect the key, thus releasing the twelve (count 'em!) eggs. Go up to the top of the line of cracked eggs and shove the rock on top of it, then go immediately up and left releasing the rocks which will roll off the Skull and Crossbones into the photocopier area - Make sure there are no spirits around when you do this. One of the remaining two spirits will go in the final cage and the last one will use the transporter. Leave the banknotes for now Go back to where you found the rock on top of the safe and take the jewel that's there. Above you to your left and to your right are two rock and jewel formations. You'll be doing these last. Go round the corridors until you get to the rock and jewel chamber at the bottom. Enter this area, go right to the bottom then walk right then up, then back left collecting all the jewels. Leave this area, collecting the jewels on the left, and go up to the rock and jewel chamber nearby. This isn't difficult, just collect from the bottom and push the rocks by the right wall out individually. Take the banknotes surrounding the fungus any left over jewels then go to the two chambers I told you about earlier. Take the left one first, using the Left Infinity Shuffle to take the last of the four jewels. Push the rock to get out then enter the right chamber. Take all the jewels from the bottom. G.Rep4A - Level 3 ----------------- PASSWORD: RCOFLRYW MINIMUM SCORE: 1100, POSSIBLE SCORE: 1170 Take the transporter you can see to your right. Get the key and all the banknotes blocking in the cage, but leave the jewels under the rock. You will be collecting these last of all. Leave this area and go upwards. Above you are two moveable jewels. You need to push these up without blocking in the spirit. Send him down to the cage you just unblocked. Under the spirit roaming around the photocopier is a small jar shaped chamber with a cage in it. Send this spirit into this cage. Again there is a moveable jewel in this area so be careful when you push it. Make your way now to the far right wall. Remove the jewel between the magic walls and send the nearby rock through them when you've killed the ghoul. Take the nearby transporter then return to take the jewels from behind it, using the Left Infinity Shuffle to take the last one. Make your way round the top of the level to the snowflake of jewels and magi-blocks. Release the egg on the curved barrier and use a rock in the snowflake to kill the ghoul. Photocopy the magi-block bottom right using the copier below the banknotes and combine the two blocks with the block top right. The rock can be used to block in the fungus. Collect the next column of jewels blocking in the fungus then go straight up unblocking the cage. Send the rocks down to block in the fungus then use the copier to create another block. Combine these two blocks with the third above them then release the spirit. He will go straight into the cage. Go into the transporter then go down unblocking the final spirit's route to the cage. Release him and step into the alcove under the magi-block to allow him past. When the snowflake has fully disappeared all you have to do is clear all the jewels and banknotes left. The only danger jewel is the one in the bottom left corner. The fungus will sometimes be kind and not grow and block you in, so you can take it. G.Rep4A - Level 4 ----------------- PASSWORD: MWNNJHFF MINIMUM SCORE: 1565, POSSIBLE SCORE: 1685 The first part of this level requires a bit of nifty finger work. Let the rock transport and step left over the photocopier, then down. Push the nearby magi-block down one square, then go round and back to your start position unblocking the middle cage and dropping a rock on top of the photocopier. The rock you transported can be used to kill the ghoul. Go over the third cage and round the '4' shaped formation above you. Drop the rock on top of the jewel and push it right to block in the fungus. Go back to where you started and combine the three magi-blocks dropping two rocks next to the photocopier. Go to the pen with six magi-blocks and the egg. Crack the egg collecting all the nearby jewels then lure the ghoul round to the rock on top of the photocopier. After he's dead retrace your steps back to this chamber but go up instead. Crack the egg at the top and kill him in the same way. Make your way upwards again, going round the top middle '4'. Drop the egg on the right off the barrier and kill the ghoul with the nearby rock. Go down and take the last remaining transporter in this area. Leave the magi-blocks for now, and go left, round the barrier and right towards the spirits, killing another ghoul. Release the bottom spirit and go up at the fork, the spirit will go right. Unblock the bottom and middle cages. When the spirit returns and cages, you can release the top spirit. After clearing the diamonds, make your way back to the magi-blocks. Clear them as follows. Push the middle block in the first four columns together and the remaining three blocks are easily dealt with. Go up to the top of the level and cage the spirit, collecting the key and the unlocked diamonds. Return to the chamber with the six magi-blocks. You can now enter it from the bottom. Combine the six blocks to make jewels then release the final ghoul which you will find against the left wall. Lure him towards the same rock that you killed two previous ghouls with. Once he's dead all that remains for you to do is collect jewels and banknotes. There are four jewels that you cannot collect as they are over rocks, and between barriers. The banknote under two rocks you have to collect last, but you'll have to press TAB very quickly to avoid being killed by the fungus. G.Rep4B - Level 1 ----------------- PASSWORD: Not Required MINIMUM SCORE: 1215, POSSIBLE SCORE: 1250 Collect the jewels around you, then move left. Knock the rock off the magi-block to the right onto the photocopier. Copy the magi-block and push it left. Collect the created jewels and move down. Push the rock off the barrier into the transporter. Move right leaving the piece of earth on the same row as the barrier near the photocopier, then go upwards. Clear all the earth away from behind the magi-blocks and the banknote creating a gap. Push the egg off the magi-block and kill the ghoul with the rock. Push the magi-block behind the column of two blocks downwards two spaces to create a row then push the column of blocks against the wall. Go back round so you are underneath the row of two blocks, and push the block against the wall upwards and through the gap. The other block can now be joined up with the other two. Go down, round and up again and push the block you pushed through the gap right to meet up with the other two. The jewel next to the curved barrier is moveable and will hold the rock in place. Go over the photocopier, down and unblock the first cage. Release the top spirit first behind the banknote, collect the un-caged jewel and now go to the spirit currently secured behind the rock. You need to push the rock under the jewel then take the jewel to release the spirit. Don't worry about the photocopier, he won't use it. Once this spirit has caged, collect the key and return to the chamber where you killed your first ghoul. Now all the safes are open you can join up another row of magi-blocks. Go up and push the rock in the corner over the photocopier. Then go under the photocopier and push the rock left so it falls downward through the magic wall. After collecting this banknote, go back to the second spirit's chamber and push the rock off the curved barrier so the photocopier cannot be used. Go to the spirit chamber above your original start position and release the spirit by collecting the jewel in the corner, not on the photocopier. Go to the left side of this chamber remembering to keep the piece of earth I told you about earlier in place. Unblock the two cages. When the spirit and its photocopy cage, release the final spirit and unblock its cage which is on the bottom left of the level. When the spirit passes by, collect all the banknotes on the left hand side, pushing out the egg. Lure the ghoul upwards and kill him with the rock you positioned at the opening of the level. Push out the two magi-blocks from their alcoves one square right then push the top one down. Now go up. The third block you need is by the wall. Simply push it down so it is level with the photocopier, then push it left and down to meet with the other two. Go to the magi-block on top of the skull and crossbones, and meet it up with the other two nearby, the rest is simply a matter of clearing jewels and banknotes. Access to the top left chamber is through the left transporter of the group of two. G.Rep4B - Level 2 ----------------- PASSWORD: GPQRNGXE MINIMUM SCORE: 2705 There isn't a set route through this level, so I will just give you some general tips; Get the key as soon as possible, as this will unlock the safes and open up the screen for you. The quickest route for me is to go right to the two blocks with diamonds in front, then go down to the rock, combine the magi-blocks then go left under the safes then down between the two columns of magi-blocks and finally left at the safe. From there you just need to combine two sets of blocks to get the key. Now you're at the bottom, you need to clear the level from the ground up. As it's so big I usually divide it in half and clear it that way. The critical parts are around the border of the level as the blocks next to the boundary walls can only be pushed either horizontally or vertically. For this reason it's better to clear these while you have all the blocks available from the middle Remember that the rocks will all congregate on the bottom of the level when they fall, so make sure that you don't block any magi-blocks or jewels in. Also it sounds obvious but it's easy to forget that if you have a rock on top of a magi-block it will roll off when it becomes a jewel. A rock will always roll off the jewel from the right when it is unsupported from either side In a couple of places there is a large construction of magi-blocks and rocks. These are usually best left till later on and then gently take them apart Finally make use of the map. This is particularly important in the later stages, when you have huge areas of black. If you need a magi-block and there isn't one nearby it is possible there is one available on the other side of the level. G.Rep4B - Level 3 ----------------- PASSWORD: INZTSUHR MINIMUM SCORE: 1845, POSSIBLE SCORE: 1910 Go over the magi-block on top of you, pushing the rock one square. Enter the area on the left, going around the magi-blocks in a diagonal. Without disturbing any rocks, make your way up to the cage then go left and up collecting the earth under the magic wall. Push the nearby rock one square to the right. Return to your start position and push the two magi-blocks together. Make your way upwards pushing the rock off the curved barrier. Continue up leaving the jewel at the top of the barrier. Push the nearby magi-block to the jewels left then drop the rock through the magic wall. Return again to your start position. Release the ghoul killing him with the nearby rock then use this rock to block in the fungus. Combine the three magi-blocks and collect the jewels, but leave the ones around the transporter for now. Push the magi-block near the transporter right next to it and look up. When the spirit above you disappears take the transporter below. Dodging the spirit go upwards by the right wall and cage him in one of the cages. Clear out this area, making sure you leave the piece of earth next to the curved barrier. Come out then down and over the photocopier ensuring you leave the jewel at the left side. Individually release the three spirits. Go to the nest of magiblocks and magic walls and clear a path all the way down for the rock, which is behind the now un-caged jewels. Once the banknotes are created, push the magi-block near the transporter left to combine it with the others. You can now combine all the magi-blocks. Return to the area with the two copiers and make your way to the top, pushing the available rock through the magic walls, collecting the key and the jewel to the left of the top copier. The two magi-blocks together at the bottom can be combined with the block near the transporter, the two at the top combined with the last one. Drop the bottom rock onto the red photocopier, and make your way to the left hand side, taking the jewel at the front of the copier as you go. Create a path for the final spirit to the cage and release him. When he cages release the egg and lure him over the photocopier, killing both ghouls with the rock on the second. Return to the left hand chamber and release the second egg. This manoeuvre is extremely tricky but it can be done. Lure him into the same area as the first two, but make your way to the top copier. Carefully copy the last ghoul then move up and left before he kills you. If this doesn't work you will need to go round again. It may take a few goes. When it does work the two ghouls will part. Lure the first ghoul back into the chamber where you copied him (there still should be a rock against the left wall) and kill him, then drop another rock onto the copier for the final ghoul. Apart from a Downward Infinity Shuffle top left, the rest is a simple matter of clearing the remaining jewels and banknotes. You don't need the remaining transporters G.Rep4B - Level 4 ----------------- PASSWORD: KJKXGYID MINIMUM SCORE: 1765, POSSIBLE SCORE: 1910 Make your way down and go immediately right. Go up past the cracked egg, send the rock through the transporter. Go to the far wall and go down one square and back up again and wait for the ghoul. Go up to kill him with the rock but don't unblock the transporter. Come down and collect the jewels you bypassed earlier, an Infinity Shuffle will be required. Go down towards the photocopier and when a spirit bounces off the far jewel, go straight over the top. Unblock one of the cages and let a spirit enter, then unblock the other. When this other cage has been used, return to the photocopier and collect the jewels to it's right allowing it to be used. Return to the now unblocked chamber and free the other two cages. You need to keep the jewel on top of the photocopier and the earth section to it's left for later. Once the spirit and the copy cage, go round to the key clearing a path to the fourth cage. Return to the transporter along the right wall and take it. Go right and push the right and middle magi-blocks of the group of three down and together. Go back left and take the transporter, then take the jewels around you. This will release one egg. Drop the second egg left off the magi-block then go behind the rock at the top after collecting the moveable jewel. Kill the two ghouls when they arrive. Push the rock under the cage on the left. Go around this structure and down collecting everything up to the cage on your left. The three magi-blocks in the middle of this structure can be combined with the three at the bottom so you can get out. Take the corridor next to the start chamber. Return to the magi-blocks next to the first photocopier. You can now combine these, and continue round unblocking yet another photocopier. Crack the egg then while you're waiting for it to hatch, collect everything under the magic wall. Lure the ghoul straight up and a rock will fall killing him. Continue upwards until you've collected the jewel in between the egg and the skull and crossbones. Go downwards take the transporter next to the left wall, and return back to the spirit near the left wall, taking the lower path again over the two photocopiers. Release the final spirit and push the bottom magi-block down to combine it with two others. When the spirit copies, the copy will travel to the cage in the middle chamber and copy again, the original will go the opposite way. As soon as the copy has bounced off the jewel in the corridor, take it and allow the final spirit to get past. Return to where you released this final spirit and push the middle egg near the transporter onto the magi-block then guide the ghoul down to the lower egg and release this as well. Making sure the first ghoul is following take the transporter, then shove the rock through the magic wall to kill both ghouls. Knock the top egg off to the left and roll the rock off the curved barriers to kill him, then combine the three magi-blocks against the left wall. Make your way round the middle chamber to the egg on top of the curved barrier. Collect everything below then go to the egg surrounded by jewels. After releasing this egg, go up to the rock on the curved barrier and push it off killing the next two ghouls. Don't forget the banknote. Collect everything up before the fungus blocks it in. There are two magi-blocks in a diagonal line to the right of the middle chamber. One can be combined with the two blocks next to the skull and crossbones, the second with the two blocks at the top of the level. Return to the spirit chamber on the right hand side. Drop the rock onto the barrier, then drop the egg onto the photocopier. Go round under the photocopier to the other side of the rock then push it onto the cracked egg, and go down so the cracked egg is right in front of you. When it hatches the ghoul will copy and be killed by the rock. Just push it left then collect any left over jewels. ROBBO ===== Robbo moves away from the Repton mythology to create a new game. You play the title character as always and each screen is a "test bay" where Robbo has to accomplish several tasks, which include 1) Collecting all the orbs, modelled after diamonds 2) Cutting grass with a lawnmower 3) Placing light bulbs on top of power stations, which either exist independently or are produced by pushing phones into a machine. 4) Placing Coke cans into fridges which either exist independently or can be taken from Coke Machines 5) Flushing floppy discs down toilets (!) which either exist independently or can be retrieved from computers by repairing them with a spanner Also you are required to push Things and Kettles out of the way in order for you to accomplish all of the above G.RobboA - Level 1 ------------------ PASSWORD: Not Required MINIMUM SCORE: 650, POSSIBLE SCORE: 652 Collect the two orbs to your left, and push the spanner to the signs. Collect all the other orbs around you except on top of the light bulbs. Push the fish near the power station down to the bottom of the screen between the sign-posts and push it into the left transporter. Push the light bulb off the computer onto the power station. Go to the bulbs below the orbs. Push the first bulb right two spaces then go round it to the front and push it towards the power station leaving the orb still in place. You can take the other two orbs, when you are ready for the second and third bulb. Push the spanner round to the computers left side to receive another floppy disc. Enter the toilet chamber. Collect all the orbs from the perimeter of the chamber allowing a kettle to move to the right wall then push it to the ground. Deal with the second kettle the same way. The Things should now be in a column next to the toilet. Push them onto the top wall and you will now be able to flush your floppy discs down the toilet. Enter the room with the Lawnmower. Push the Kettle above you into the top right corner then the Thing on the top row into the left corner. Another Thing will block you in, but simply push this right. Move down one and push the Thing to your left against the wall. Push the Lawnmower left one and then down to the floor of the chamber. Push one Kettle down and out of the chamber then push the sole Thing on the ground left. Push another kettle down, and another up and you will now be able to get the lawnmower out. Push it along to the grass and cut it all, sending it through the transporter. Move to the chamber bottom left. To take the orb from the corner you need to do the following; Push the top Thing all the way to the left then the two Things blocking you in on the right hand side push them out. Push one kettle to the ground, then the kettle now above your head, push up two squares then go immediately left then down. You can now get the orb. Simply push the kettle to get out. Return to your start position and cut the remaining grass. Go to the bottom right chamber now. Perform the Right Infinity Shuffle on The Thing next to you then just wait for the Things and Kettles to stop moving. Clear the column of Things to your left out of the chamber using the Left Infinity Shuffle and stepping back allowing the column to reform. Once they are all clear simply go down to the bottom of the chamber push the Thing out of the way and take all the orbs. Now leave this chamber and go into the chamber next door. Push the Kettle on the right all the way to the floor. Push four Kettles out of the chamber all the while keeping the line of kettles back. When four are out, let the line of Kettles go to the right wall, then use the Down Infinity Shuffle to push the next Kettle on top of the first one. Push the next Kettle down onto this one, then step up moving quickly left to push a Thing before it blocks your path. Collect the orb and take the transporter by the far left wall of the level to the final chamber This final chamber requires split second timing to work. First go up pushing the kettle that arrives below you down then push the kettle that arrives above you into the top right corner. Go down and left pushing The Thing one square left. Your current situation is thus; you have a column of Things to your left, and a column of kettles to your right. Now perform the Left Infinity Shuffle and finally the Repton Shuffle on The Thing below you so that you have a box of Things to the left of the transporter. Simply take the orb in this area and the transporter and then take the orb at the end of the path. G.RobboA - Level 2 ------------------ PASSWORD: VCMKCNVR MINIMUM SCORE: 402, POSSIBLE SCORE: 412 Take the left transporter then go right pushing the top stacked Thing on top of the fridge, which will send all the kettles into the fridge. Collecting orbs as you go, send the fish in the room with the computer through the transporter at the bottom between the two double S walls then go towards the Power Station by the far left wall. After pushing the bulb on top of the power station, push the lawnmower round towards the grass and cut it all. Go to the chamber top left. Push the Kettle upwards and the Thing right and it will go in the corner. Go between the groups of Kettles and push the bottom of the stacked Things left to the wall. Push three Kettles out of the chamber using the Downward Infinity Shuffle, then using the Upward Infinity Shuffle move the two Kettles above you over the roof of the Coke Machine. Push the Thing by the chamber's entrance out, and the Thing under the Coke machine left. You can now get yourself a can of Coke from the machine and push it towards the fridge. Go to the right of the level and take the transporter under the line of Kettles. Push the phone into the bottom transporter and take the top one yourself. Push the phone round to the small chamber with four corridors off it and continue right. Push the thing in the top left corner then stack all the Kettles against the right wall. Go up and push the free Kettle down to join up with the others. After clearing all the orbs from the room, you can now bring the phone up and push it into the machine. Push the created light bulb through the nearby pipe then push it round to the Power Station. To obtain the last four orbs, push the top Thing all the way to the left, then do the same with the second. Then push the Kettle that was directly under the Things upwards and it will go right clearing you a path to the Orbs. G.RobboA - Level 3 ------------------ PASSWORD: FWPTDIYZ MINIMUM SCORE: 1498, POSSIBLE SCORE: 1548 Go down through the gap, then immediately left towards two transporters either side of a line of orbs. Take the right one. Collect all the orbs first then push the spanner on top of the last pipe section near the Power Station. The Lawnmower can be pushed into a corner so it is out of the way. Push all the Kettles into the fridge, then the Coke cans then the free Light Bulb on top of the Power Station. Leave the orbs under the Power Station for now and return to the top of the level. Collect all the orbs from around the two columns of Things and floppy discs then push the highest Thing in the right column left on to the pipe. This will allow you to push the top disc down, so you can push it out. You can now start flushing all the floppy discs down the toilet. You need to begin with the top disc in the left column, then the top two discs in the right column. The fridge will happily accept the fish. After you've cleared all these you can then move on to pushing the second bulb onto the Power Station and the spanner into the computer. Then move on to the discs at the bottom, then next door. The top disc on it's own you'll need to save until last. Don't touch the Lawnmower you won't need this one. The four discs and the spanner can be sent through the pipe at the bottom. You don't have to use another computer with the spanner. One computer will happily churn out floppy discs as long as there are spanners left. Return to the chamber below your start position and arrange the Things and Kettles as follows. Collect the right orb then move the Kettle upwards to the top right corner. Push the two Kettles in the middle together then release those, then push the Kettle at the far end down and the Thing below the spanner to the left. Using the bottom pipe individually push the two spanners and the Light Bulb to the left of your original start position through it. Take the transporter in the bottom left corner and pushing the Lawnmower down collect each orb next to you. Eventually the Lawnmower will go through the transporter and will arrive above your head. Go down and around to the two orbs on top of a four pack of Things. Collect the orbs and go straight up. After collecting the orbs below you, return to the top left corner and collect the orbs from the right hand side. There will be two you cannot obtain. From here you can cut the last piece of grass and push the final Light Bulb onto the Power Station on the right hand side. G.RobboA - Level 4 ------------------ PASSWORD: DQCQMWZG MINIMUM SCORE: 1318, POSSIBLE SCORE: 1398 First you have to clear the Lawnmower's access to all the grass. Collect the orb below the toilet and the two orbs to the left. Then go right and upwards collecting the orbs at the top, but leaving the orbs in front of the Kettles. You can collect these when you've cut enough grass. Now proceed to the far right hand side. The two Things near the pipes can simply be pushed in and they will be destroyed by the Superior Logos. The two Things between the grass can be got rid off in the same way. Moving down, push the Light Bulb in the middle to the wall between the Kettles, the Light Bulb on the fridge, push round out of the way. Now you need to collect all the orbs behind the pipes. There are seven Superior Logos in the pipes and there is a gap which will allow you to collect them. The gap is only sufficient for one journey though. Once you have collected all these, go back to the Lawnmower and push down to the grass. Start from the top left corner then send it through the transporter, when it's all cut. Flush the nearby disc down the toilet, and push the fish out of the way. Find the Lawnmower and push it through the second transporter, then move to the next area and complete the grass cutting pushing it through a third transporter, pushing the free Light Bulb onto the Power Station as you do so. Push the two Kettles by the column of Things down and they will go next to the Things on the right. Push the column of Things into the fridge, followed by the Coke can below you. Now we can push the Light Bulbs on top of the Power Station. Do the two bulbs together first, then move to the Bulb amongst the Things and Kettles. Simply push the Kettle down into the pipes and push the Things against that rise on top of the wall and you can push the bulb out. Move up until you are under the machine. Push the first stacked Thing to your right up then collect all the orbs above, leaving the orb next to the machine. Push the Thing at the top into the corner. Push the top of the stack of Things under the machine, then collect the orb releasing the other two, then position them both by the top wall. Go through the transporter and feed the phone into the machine. Push this created Bulb down towards the Power Station. The Coke can that was above you at the start of the level can now be pushed into the fridge. Obtain another one from the machine and push that one in as well. Collect all the orbs above the Power Station and push the Light Bulb down. Go now underneath the block of Coke cans and orbs and collect the orbs. Push the Coke can on the left down to the piece of wall then go upwards freeing your access to the final bulb. Go down pushing the Thing on the right so you can get the bulb on top of the Power Station. Then push the last four Coke cans into the fridge G.RobboB - Level 1 ------------------ (Thanks to Michael Spencer for helping me solve this level.) PASSWORD: Not Required MINIMUM SCORE: 1178, CURRENT ACHIEVED SCORE: 1324 This level is very much like G.Rep4B Level 2 because of this I can only give you general tips. You do have some preliminary groundwork to do with the lawnmowers before you start. From your start position collect all the available orbs around you before entering the transporter. Go left and push this lawnmower to the edge of the grass, return to the right and push the next lawnmower you come to left one square and down two squares. Return to the lawnmower next to where you transported in and push it down one square and left until you reach the Things, then down to the orb pushing the Things out of the way. Push this lawnmower right to the next mower then down one square. Push the other mower one square right to access the lower mower and push this left to access another orb. Push the upper mower to your right on top of the Things. Go up then right and push the next mower you come to left towards the bulb and push the Things into the grass. Push this mower down two squares, then push the mower next to the orb down so you can collect it releasing two more Things and freeing another orb. Push the mower that had been under the bulb left until its under the Coke machine, then go round the other side of it and push it right, to another column of Things and push the mower below it down one square then right until it is in the square before the square next to the wall, so you can push it from the other side. You basically continue in this vein cutting the grass so you can access the goodies. Several things to remember 1) Anything can be pushed into the grass, this includes items such as floppy discs and Cola cans, but it also happily includes fish and Things 2) Memorise the locations of the transporters, as you can use these to re-position the lawnmowers further up. 3) Plan your routes. Use the map extensively and take it slowly, this is not a level where you can speed run. 4) Don't start pushing items like floppy discs and bulbs until you have a sizeable area of clear space to work in, as this will ensure you don't block any paths off 5) Don't push a mower next to a wall or the floor of the level until you are absolutely sure you cannot do anymore with it. G.RobboB - Level 2 ------------------ PASSWORD: LLMNSDGL MINIMUM SCORE: 1419, POSSIBLE SCORE: 1529 Push the three Things around you into the grass, then go down and left above the transporter and push the Kettle below the gap in the grass upwards to get out. Collect all the orbs around you, then push the one Kettle in the row of two upwards, then one Kettle in the row of three the same way to get the orb near the pipe. Free the Power Station then push the phone to the wall on the right hand side, making sure you can get through. Take all the orbs in the upper left corner, unblocking the three Light Bulbs near the wall. Return downwards and take the transporter near the Machine. Make your way to the Lawnmower and push it down, then move it down towards the clump of grass above your start position. Push it right until the grass below you ends then push it down, then all the way left and straight into the transporter. Return to the chamber you transported in and you'll find it again. Cut all the grass here and transport it a second time. The Light Bulb by the left wall can't be pushed onto a Power Station, but the other two can. Use the one that was previously blocked in by Kettles. There are two more to the right of your original start position. After you have taken the two bulbs out, you can clear the area of orbs. There are two you cannot collect in the left chamber - under the transporter, and one in the right chamber. Make your way to the transporter next to the toilet, and after flushing the disc through, take it. After getting the orb, push the Thing to your right to get out then push it left. Push the other Things under the Coke machines left as well. Make your way to the Lawnmower and push it under the floppy disc. Push the Kettle that is now against the right wall downwards then move up, using the Upward Infinity Shuffle to collect the orb in the top right corner. Push the bottom Kettle to get out. Go down to the transporter and go all the way left collecting orbs as you go. Push all the stacked Things below the line of Kettles then pushing the two lines of Kettles, create a space to push the Light Bulb out. You can use the same Power Station you used for the last four. Proceed to the transporter by the archway and take it. Step aside to allow the Thing to rise to the ceiling. Go round to the phone and using the Infinity Shuffle, take the orbs underneath without disturbing the line of Things. Move upwards then push the phone round and push it into the Machine. Push the Things now under the computer to the right, then cut the last piece of grass, then push the mower to the right wall. You can't do anything with the floppy disc, so push it away. Push the created bulb down to the Power Station and then make your way back to the bottom right chamber collecting everything from the ground up. Push the last phone into the Machine then use the Power Station below again for the second bulb. G.RobboB - Level 3 ------------------ PASSWORD: DBZGBUFU MINIMUM SCORE: 1693, POSSIBLE SCORE: 1753 Move immediately down to avoid being hemmed in by the kettles, collect the nearby orbs then go to the bottom of the level. You can only collect two of the three orbs an Infinity Shuffle will be required for the second. Bring the light bulb out and when the first one has disappeared, push this one in its place and then the third. Collect all the orbs from the right hand side of the level and when you get to the top to the block of four orbs, push the kettle to the ceiling then take the bottom row first, then the top row and move out of the way. Go left and clear the orbs in front of the kettle to clear a path. Go towards the central section, push the spanner into the grass then go down the first line of orbs and allow the Thing to go into the gap. Go back down and collect the orbs from this area, pushing the fish next to the fridge into it as well as a can of Cola from the drinks machine. Go back up and take the next fork left and clear this of orbs. All the cans will go in the fridge. Move now to the big chamber in the middle. Go down to the bottom with the wall on your right, take the orb in front of the three kettles first then you can take the orbs above and below. Go left bypassing the transporter and collect three more orbs, then come down and take it. You'll arrive at the top of the level. Go right collecting all the orbs then individually push each lawnmower down then push each one as far as they will go collecting the orbs as you do. Return to the top of the level and take the transporter top left. Retrace your steps to this point by taking the route along the top then collect the nearby orbs and push the two Things into this top left corner. Move down pushing the fish through the transporter and then the light bulbs push upwards - you can't send one through a transporter - then travel down to the bottom left hand corner. Push the top Thing in the column under the toilet left and the middle one to the right, then come out and push it left so it ascends to the top of the level. Do the same with the third. Flush the floppy disc down the toilet then collect the orbs around the machine and send this through the transporter. Once you've clearing the fish away from underneath the bottom Cola machine you can now send two cans down the pipe to the fridge and flush two more discs down the toilet. Make your way along the bottom of the level to the right hand side. Push the fish from underneath the toilet and push it into the corner, which will allow you to flush the disc on top and push the Thing away to the left. There are two more discs below around the computer. The disc against the right wall you'll have to push away. Finally make your way to the big central chamber again. Take the first three orbs as you come to them, go down for the fourth, then move up again for the fifth. G.RobboB - Level 4 ------------------ PASSWORD: CTRAYLAH MINIMUM SCORE: 3430, POSSIBLE SCORE: 3460 Immediately go down to avoid being killed by the Superior Logos in the pipes. Your first task is to empty the pipes. To do this you must go right and take the first transporter you see. Don't try and take any of the orbs that were in the pipes, there isn't time before you are killed. Push the long row of Coke cans into the nearby fridge. This fridge is where you will push nearly all of the available Coke cans. There are two cans further down are near a fridge and these can just go in this fridge. Before you can do this however you must take the remaining transporters to guide the Coke cans While you are going round, push the four Light Bulbs onto the Power Station. All you have to do now is collect the remaining orbs and push all the available Coke cans into the pipes. Most of the cans will arrive in the grid of pipes below the fridge near the top. Just push them up twice into pipes and you can guide them into the fridge. Three cans will stop further down so these will need a third upwards push, but all the cans will arrive eventually at the same point. Two more, the can near the final pipe leading to the fridge and the bottom of the pack of six just need pushing through one pipe. TRAKKA ====== (Many thanks to Michael Spencer who helped me solve some of these levels) The last section of Repton Infinity is perhaps the most surreal of all. You play a guy in a JCB destroying enemies with road signs, tomatoes, bananas and sticks of dynamite. To help you in this task you have your explosives expert Kevin who if placed correctly will blow up beasties for you. If he is placed above or below a stick of dynamite, he will blow up the stick plus one square to its left and right, if placed to the left or right Kevin will blow up the stick plus one square above or below To add to the surreal nature of the game your scores are all multiples of 17 The nasties roll of honour includes; 1) Oggles - Eyeballs that move from side to side and can be only killed with roadsigns from above, below and to their right. 2) Jaggas - Round bug eyed monsters which you kill with tomatoes and dynamite, hit them with bananas however and they turn into spiders!! 3) Spider - Must be killed with a banana, you won't be scored if you blow them up. Very myopic and still, but deadly when awake!! 4) Repton - Our diamond loving friend is annoyed he's not the centre of attention anymore. Is killed when he cannot move in any direction, therefore sometimes he will be killed by your enemies. If your score mysteriously increases this is the reason why!! In Repton Infinity you can also use the arrow keys to see more of your world around you. While there isn't much cause for their use in the previous three games, in Trakka it is essential if you're killing Oggles or luring out Spiders for instance. I won't state specifically where to use them, it will be up to your discretion G.TrakA - Level 1 ----------------- PASSWORD: Not Required MINIMUM SCORE: 255, POSSIBLE SCORE: 306 Push the sign above you and to your left down to the tomatoes before it's eaten by the Oggle. Splat all the left row of tomatoes, push the dynamite up two squares and push the sign left. There are five Oggles in the vicinity, three above you, one to your left and the final one is down and to your left. Make your way to the top of the level first and kill the Oggle that bounces off the dynamite with the sign above it. Push the sign below to the bed so you can kill this Oggle, then go left killing the third Oggle. Then make your way to the right of the level splatting the tomatoes so you have a clear route to the Spider. Lure him out underneath the cracked wall, and push the banana next to the group of cactuses left so the spider is hemmed in. Move him away from the banana so you can kill him Take the Kevin from near your start position and position him above the dynamite in the Jagga chamber, then push the bed near the tree down one square and splat the tomato blocking in the Oggle. This one can now be killed with the sign you moved at the beginning. Move upwards and splat another tomato blocking in another Oggle then move round to the top of the level to kill him with the sign. Go round and underneath the Jagga chamber using the detonator by the wall first. You will kill (hopefully) two Jaggas in the resulting explosion. Make your way round to the top of the Jagga chamber and push Kevin down again making sure that you have Jaggas on both sides. Use the detonator below this chamber under the tomato. If there is a single Jagga remaining use the tomato at the bottom of the chamber, if there are two use this tomato and the tomato to the chambers right, but you will have to be quick if you have to use it. Go round the building on the right then splat the tomato blocking in the Oggle and then quickly push the sign onto him and you should kill him. The two Oggles below are easy as is the Repton between the walls, just push the bed down. Dodge round the two Oggles near the Spider and after these two are dead, push Kevin up to the dynamite splat the middle tomato and use the detonator above. Quickly run round push Kevin out of the way and push the banana before the Spider moves. If you're successful bring the last stick of dynamite down and place it by the Jagga chamber in the corner with a gate to its left and the wall above it. Use the detonator near the top of the level. The released Jagga will make a circuit of the level, the row of tomatoes near your start position are ideal. Wait until the Jagga is above you and then let him have it. Occasionally though he may stop the tomato, but that's okay. Simply wait till he moves to the right and down G.TrakA - Level 2 ----------------- PASSWORD: SPDDEPCH MINIMUM SCORE: 272, POSSIBLE SCORE: 289 At the top of the level is a Repton which will be killed by a single Jagga making a circuit of the level. This may happen quickly or it may take a while. Don't wait for this to happen he should die shortly after you've completed the following Move over to the three Jagga's and push the dynamite one square then push Kevin next to the dynamite. After the explosion, Kevin will block in any Jaggas that are left which can be easily killed with the tomatoes. Reposition Kevin on top of the dynamite by the wall next to the Oggle chamber and when the wall has been blasted kill all three Oggles with the signs. Make your way down to the bottom killing the Repton as you go. Push the first roadsign you come to upwards against the tomato, and splat all three. Push the next roadsign you see to the banana. Moving tomatoes out of the way, position the bottom Kevin next to the dynamite next to the spiders, who will all be killed by the resulting explosion. Splat the tomato to release the middle Oggle and quickly kill him with the roadsign next to the banana, before he gets to the roadsign in his path. If you succeed, push this roadsign all the way down to the end of the level Using the two sticks of pushable dynamite, move them individually below the wall section and the gate. This will free the bottom Oggle to be killed. Push a banana down into the building with the detonators, kill the last Oggle then push a banana on the floor of the level to the left Push the bed to the tomato to gain access to this chamber, then push the far left roadsign upwards then after splatting the tomatoes push it into the transporter which will disappear. Move the Kevin in this area up to the dynamite The freed Repton by now will hopefully be dead, if he isn't just wait a bit longer. When he does die, look at the map and when the Jagga moves round to between the second and third buildings press the detonator. Move into the top area and when the Jagga is between the two tomatoes of the roof of the building let him have it. The Oggle top left can be killed with a road sign from the room below, the other two by the roadsigns along the top. Simply push them individually to the tomato next to the third building and push them down. You should kill the top one with no problems, if you use both roadsigns in your attempt kill the spider as stated below The best way to kill the spider in this area, is to make anti-clockwise circuit of the first two buildings to get him round the other side of the banana, then go up and around the second building touch the first and return then push the banana. If you still need to kill the final Oggle move the bed near the transporter top left onto the left section of gate and send another roadsign up, then push the banana up and the tomato blocking the Oggles path To kill the final Repton push Kevin so he is underneath him to release him then get out of his way. The Repton will move all the way down and along the bottom section to the right wall and proceed to then go up and down towards the building with the two detonators. Trap him with Kevin G.TrakA - Level 3 ----------------- PASSWORD: HPRCGTVH MINIMUM SCORE: 153, POSSIBLE SCORE: 238 One Jagga dies immediately when the level opens. You need to go to the top of the level and move Kevin away from the Spider, then pick off the four roaming Jaggas using the cluster of tomatoes near him or on top of the columns. You need to lure the spider on to the roof of the building, then using a stick of dynamite position the banana by the building's right wall so you can push it left to kill him. The last two Jaggas are trapped so killing them won't be a problem Move the bed directly under the building two squares down then move the stick of dynamite up four squares. Then take two more beds, position the first one in the alcove between the wall and the mushroom and the second next to the wall above the tree. Next to the building on its left hand side is a roadsign, which can now be guided down to kill the lower Oggle. To kill the higher Oggle remove the nearby tomato then bring the free stick of dynamite and place it on the green cracked wall. Place Kevin on the other piece of cracked wall and blow the dynamite. Go to the top of the building and push the left of the two roadsigns and send it to the dynamite by the wall. If you had to remove the tomato below the cracked square piece of wall you will need to push a stick of dynamite into the hole Push Kevin one square left then bring down this second stick of dynamite to blow the other piece of cracked wall. Push Kevin one square left again then bring the roadsign down to the Oggle and kill him. Push each of the nearby beds four squares left then position two more sticks of dynamite by the Repton chamber. The first in the corner the second two squares further down. Position Kevin in between the two sticks and fire them. The Repton won't escape it will happily move up and down. Trap him with the bed then move the bed down to the floor so you can get Kevin out. Make your way to the Oggle bottom right. Using the available stick of dynamite nearby push it down into the chamber so it blocks in the Oggle. Send the tomato into the transporter and splat the others. Bring the roadsign down then move the dynamite right one square then up and move quickly down before you're killed by the Oggle. Move round and kill him with the roadsign. Bring the dynamite out again Make your way to the trapped Spiders. Two are behind tomatoes and should have separated. One will be in the top of the chamber, the other in the bottom. Splat the middle tomato, guide the bottom spider out and up into the left Jagga chamber. You should be above the two beds and the Spider should be in the same row as you. Move down and fire the banana when the Spider exits. The next Spider move right to the left wall above the chamber and the Spider will move with you. Move down and he will go to the mushroom. Splat the tomato next to him and he should stay still. Now lure him out so that he is to the left of the column of cactuses and bananas. You need to go down through the middle Jagga chamber and up the other side then you can kill the Spider with the banana under the building. You now have a choice. Because only one Kevin is available you cannot kill both the remaining Repton and the trapped Spider. To kill the Repton position Kevin between the detonator and the wall and the dynamite underneath then trap the Repton with Kevin when you've blown the dynamite. To kill the last Spider position the dynamite against the middle gate section then Kevin above. When the Spider is free lure him up to the top of the level and kill him with the banana top left G.TrakA - Level 4 ----------------- PASSWORD: WGSNEYHQ MINIMUM SCORE: 289, POSSIBLE SCORE: 374 There are seven Reptons in the corridors with Jaggas. Depending on whether or not any of these break into your chamber this can happen quickly or it can take a while. If it is taking too long for you, you can always kill them yourself by moving the beds. The tomatoes in this central chamber can be used for the three Jaggas in the house, you will need to blow up the dynamite to give them access. A further tomato is available outside the house above Kevin. Make sure though that you don't move any bananas At your nearest convenience, you need to push the stick of dynamite in the bottom right, two squares to allow you access to that section of the level, this will allow a fourth Jagga into the central area. Once he's dead you need to position the remaining two sticks of dynamite diagonally to each other, the bottom stick needs to have the top and bottom corners north and south of it. Go down to the two Jaggas with the spider - only splatting one tomato so you can use the other one - and kill the Jaggas, then lure the spider into the central area so he is nestled between the dynamite. Push the top banana from the right hand side to kill him. If you now go to the gap you created by pushing the dynamite there is a second spider. Push the bottom banana in the central area down to kill this one. A third spider lurks bottom left, but this is much easier than the last two. Lure him upwards so he is below the cactus, and push the banana left. Using the two sticks of dynamite in the central area, you need to push them right, then down to blow up first the cactus above the gated barrier, then the gated barrier against the wall releasing another Jagga. There is a tomato on the roof of the building for this one. You now need a third stick to blow up the tree above the spider so you can lure him out. You'll need to get rid of the roadsign bottom right to do this if it still exists. Once you've blown up the tree, the spider should have moved upwards. Push Kevin down go underneath the spider and left pushing the banana back towards him. Then finish off with the three easy Oggles top left G.TrakB - Level 1 ----------------- PASSWORD: Not Required MINIMUM SCORE: 323, POSSIBLE SCORE: 493 From your start position go up then right, dodging the Oggle as you go down. Kill the three easy nasties on the left and push a tomato through the transporter. You can now get above those two Oggles which were at both sides of you at the start to kill them. The one on the right is trickier as you can only use the bottom road sign. The top one can be pushed into position to kill one of the four Oggles near the tomatoes, and there is a second available further up. Move near the Jagga chamber and push the tomato into the transporter when they have all moved to the far end, then pick them off with the nearby tomatoes. The tomato you transported will replace a banana further down. Move down to the detonator and press it when the Jaggas are next to the dynamite. You ideally need to kill two or all three. The last one you can just pick him off when he returns. The Repton in the building can be killed with a 'Splat'. Move round and up the building's left side and destroy the two tomatoes either side of the roadsign, then using the dynamite above you as a stop-gap, send two roadsigns up to kill the last two Oggles in the group of four from below. Return to the two Jaggas near the detonators, the first kill is easy, the second you need to release him and guide him to the building's left side so you can kill him with a tomato under the cactuses. Now proceed to the Jagga pen bottom left. There is an easy kill to start off with, the second freed Jagga you can kill with the tomato in the extreme top left. There are now six Jagga's left all trapped; two solo ones and four roaming in two box areas. The next you need to release is the one above the Repton. Push the banana next to the tomato upwards when he is out of the way so he doesn't turn into a Spider. The best tomato to use is the first one you transported which is near your start position. The Repton in the Jagga pen kill with a 'Splat'. The second solo Jagga lure him to the area of ten tomatoes top left and pick him off with one of those. You now have four Jagga's left and you need to release them when they are all ideally in the left box. This part will require a bit of patience to lure the Jaggas to a tomato. You can use any from the configuration top left, the two remaining tomatoes in the Jagga pen and there should also be one under a cactus to the left of the building. To kill the spider, position a stick of dynamite next to the banana, place Kevin on top of the banana and blow it up, then move round the left of the building and above it so the spider follows you and return to his chamber and kill him with the remaining banana when he stops above the gated barrier G.TrakB - Level 2 ----------------- PASSWORD: PDVJAFNA MINIMUM SCORE: 391, POSSIBLE SCORE: 425 The four Jaggas in the corners of the game screen can all potentially be killed by dynamite. They all need to move one square outwards from their starting position, ideally you need to kill two or three Jaggas. Push the two sticks of dynamite either side of you down one square to pick off any remaining Jaggas. Also be aware there are two free ones roaming on the right of the level. Make your way to the long Jagga pen on the left pausing to push a tomato into the transporter below it. When you reach the Jagga pen, pause if the Repton's haven't been killed yet and when they have been wait until two Jaggas rise to the top and take them out when they move down. They are two tomatoes on the right, and four on the left of the Jagga pen which can be used to take the two freed Jaggas out as well as three in the secondary pen. However you may find it easier when releasing these three if you kill one at the same time. Around the central area are four Oggles, you need to kill the top ones first as they are closest to the roadsigns. You'll be able to get in position for the left Oggle, for the right one you'll need to splat the tomato blocking him in to give yourself room to move round. Once you've killed him position three sticks of dynamite in a direct line with the three roadsigns below but above the line of the two lower Oggles then splat the tomatoes to give you access Make your way now to the bottom of the level, killing the trapped Jagga as you go, then splat the tomato and individually move each roadsign to the column of cactuses and kill two of the three Oggles. Dodge your way round the third Oggle and push the roadsigns up, then bring down one stick of dynamite and position it on the top of the right end section of wall. Put Kevin to the dynamite's left and blow up the section of wall. Use Kevin to guide the roadsign down so it is close to the Oggle, move him out of the way and kill it. The final two Oggles will be simple, just get out of the way quickly when you release them! The tomato you transported at the beginning will have replaced a gated wall section to allow you to kill one of the final Jaggas. As for the last one, when you released the final two Oggles by transporting tomatoes, they reappeared close to your starting position so you can use those, or if you have any tomatoes left at the far left you can use one of those. The four spiders at the top do not move. G.TrakB - Level 3 ----------------- PASSWORD: QKUCTZGR MINIMUM SCORE: 289, POSSIBLE SCORE: 425 Two Reptons die immediately, a third will follow shortly. The one above your head can be killed with a splat. Make your way round to the tomato blocking in the four Jaggas, and kill one to release the others. You can pick them off using the tomatoes available to your right, as well as a trapped Jagga in the middle To kill the spider you need to lure him out from his current position and guide him into the Jagga chamber onto the third step on the right, where he will be easily killed with the bottom banana. The spider at the top is killed in more or less the same way. You need to make sure there is a space before you release him otherwise he could end up chasing you. You'll need to position him nestled in the pillared corner just at the end of the brick wall. The banana that was below you will kill him once it has a clear path. You can leave this one till last if you prefer. Kill the sole Oggle in the tomato chamber, then make your way to the bottom killing the Repton in the long corridor by pushing one of the solo beds down to block him in, then you can splat the tomato and push the bed to the end. The two trapped Jaggas shouldn't cause you too many problems. To release the final Repton you need to position a stick of dynamite against the right wall, one square down from the top and blow it up, then disrupt his circular motion by pushing Kevin into his path. He will go down the same corridor that the other two Reptons died in. Kill him with another bed. Now make your way to the group of Oggles, bottom right. Push the lower stick of dynamite to gain access and pick them off with the roadsigns. You need to kill the middle Oggle so you can gain access to the top right section of the level. A final trapped Jagga awaits, and there is a stick of dynamite which can be used to guide them closer, as well as one spare roadsign if you require G.TrakB - Level 4 ----------------- PASSWORD: WLJMWJEN MINIMUM SCORE: 425, POSSIBLE SCORE: 646 The level opens with a rather large gift, thirteen Reptons in all!. There are however many more nasties to kill by normal means Immediately go straight up, avoiding the Oggle and move the two roadsigns to your left right against the tomatoes to create a cordon against the four Jaggas below. There is also a free Repton below as well which will do one of two things; 1) Die shortly after the level opens, or 2) Break through your cordon. If he dies you have lots of time, if he breaks through your cordon you need to go left and down dodging the Oggle and send him through the transporter. The Jaggas will now come through your cordon, but they can only come through one at a time. The tomatoes in this top left area can be used to pick them off, as well as the Jagga that started in this area originally. The three roadsigns on the long piece of wall can be used to kill the three Oggles. If your not confident in your long sign throwing there are two more signs below these to kill the two roaming Oggles, so you can have two attempts to kill the Oggle in the chamber with Kevin. The trapped Jagga is easily killed. If Repton didn't break through your cordon you need to release the Jaggas. Patience is essential, if you guide the Jaggas to the tomatoes they'll be too close to you and you'll just end up splatting tomatoes just to get out of their way. One Jagga may stay down in the bottom half in the level, but that's no problem. Now we can kill the Oggles in the top middle and top right of the level. If Repton broke through your roadsign cordon you won't be able to kill all of these Oggles. The best one to keep is one of the three below your start position. To kill the spider, stand in the corner above its chamber then when it stops go round the tomatoes and banana him when he is in line. Use one of the detonators in the spider chamber then make your way to the lower part of the level. Push the banana under the transporter left and it will go straight up. Kill the Oggle with the nearby sign. If you have a free Jagga he will be roaming in the area with the Spider, the best tomato is the one next to the transporter. Guide the spider down and round to the banana that you pushed earlier. This is very delicate and quite tricky but it can be done. If you succeed bring the roadsign right and then down to the building, then release the Oggle on the right behind the tomato and push the sign onto him when he arrives. Travel to the right hand side to the trapped Jagga. Push Kevin down first into the alcove then push the dynamite on top of him. Use the detonator on the other side, then splat the first two tomatoes on the third row, wait for the Jagga and let him have it. Move onto the last two Reptons. Release both from the right hand side, the first one either use the nearby Kevin and block him in that way or if you prefer release him, then release the Oggle behind the tomato I told you about earlier, then position a stick of dynamite just before the wall to block off the Repton's path when he goes into the middle left area and he will be killed when he is trapped between an Oggle and the dynamite. The second Repton will go through the tomatoes on the right. Use a stick of dynamite to block him in. For the final Jagga bottom left bring a stick of dynamite down, then Kevin and use a detonator from the right of the level and kill him with the tomato remaining in the Repton chamber ----------------------- You've now completed Repton Infinity!! If you have lives left why not start at the beginning and do it all over again
