I alas don't have any for the beeb, but do have the Dragon version, same stick just a different connector on the end and yeah they are good sticks.

Cheers.

I was thinking more on the lines of this from an episode of Father Ted @0.55 :D

Actually have slept in the boot of a car before when I was 18, had to pick up my dad from Manchester airport @10pm, the plane was 6+ hours late, so off to the boot I went

Will bring my Atom and show it's mad guts off, so then John might be put off by wanting one
@Phill, do you have one of your magic rom/ram atom cards at the ready? Then you and the hardcore atom crew can 'throw it in' 8) also a MRB elk turbo
@Jason, will you have 'bits' to upgrade my MatchBox copro?, as mine is from the very first posted out batch
@DaveH, mind to grab those bits for the Electron Tube Interface
@Ian, anymore shopping needed for Tunnocks dark choc wafers?
@Charlie, do you need more rare mixed rave tapes from 1988-1994?
@Kees /Wim, do you need any funny ciggies /cakes made? :-k

That is true, Multiwizard asked me on facebook if I had a spare Mk 3.x, I thought I'd sold them all, but found one :)

You also wanted a new Electron MRB didn't you? I'll build two then, if you bring your Electron I can fit if for you (assuming your processor is already socketed). :)

Cheers.

Hi Phill, I think you have misread it, I had asked on Facebook if you had a spare MK4.3 Colour board? :(

In that case yes, if you'll accept that it is experimental....

This is rather O/T - but has the CityLAN thing that you were supporting on the same weekend been cancelled now?

I've seen lots of articles saying that it's been cancelled - but the website says that the show HASN'T been cancelled.

I can't go myself (am in Margate for a different event) though I'd told a couple of friends about the event and they intended to go ...

With just over a week to go, is there anything I need to bring, from what I remember :

V4.x experimental Colour card for Wim. - Built, just have to make output cable.
Atom RamRom, and Electron MRB for CMcDougall - Built and tested.
Do I remember DaveM also wanting an MRB?

Atom Floppy new version (1.0, 1.2 boards are being made).
Will bring Atom with V4.7 Colour card, and another to show off New floppy.

Will also bring the SystemClone, especially as Disk and Econet are now working. Dave I can try the Econet board in your System 3, assuming it works I'll let you have one if I get some boards made. Though looking at the circuit of the Processor card (same as System one without keyboard / display), it looks like the board may need a couple of mods (reversible) and a new ROM blowing, with a 24->28 pin adapter.

Guess I might need to being soldering iron, desolder station this time.

Is there anything else I'm supposed to be bringing?

Cheers.

Phill.

I can't make it Friday any longer but I'll still be there Saturday and Sunday.

I've retrieved my Atoms from the BeebVault, so I'll be bringing them, along with a few other goodies in the same box for somebody to repair:

"16K" BBC Model B
Dead Acorn A4 with Econet

Hope somebody fancies a challenge !

Hi Guys,

Only 3 days to go now =D> =D> =D>

I won't be there Friday evening, but will be there through the day on Saturday and Sunday.

I'm planning on bringing the following:
- New 2015 Atom
- Atom FPGA (on Papilio One)
- Electron FPGA (on Papilio Duo) + an old Electron in case we need to use the tape interface
- Model B with Data Centre and Matchbox Co Pro with latest firmware
- ICE-T65 (on a GODIL)
- Xilinx Programming Cable
- Laptop with Xilinx ISE 14.7 Software
- HP LP2065 Monitor (because I know it works at 50Hz)

regards

Dave

They're cool Phil but I won't get a chance to print them or order lanyards/ID badges etc. Maybe next time?

Just a note - I don't think I'll be arriving before 3pm at the earliest - so hopefully no one was planning to get there before then? (As I'll need to be on site before anybody is let in, because Gary will be working in his other office).

Will be leaving soon, when I get there very much depends on M69, M1, M62.....

Right I'm on my way......

Sitting in services on M62, just before Halifax, so should be in Bolton between 3 and 4.

And in hotel will be there in a few minutes.

Cheers.

Phill.

We've stopped for fuel (both car and body) and are at the M1 M6 junction. So going green to be a few hours before we get to the hotel. See you all soon.
