Trying out a rare 1984 UMI-2B (an early MIDI Sequencer and Interface) for the first time coupled to a 1983 BBC Micro Model B … The UMI-2B was famously used by Vince Clarke in his early years and no doubt played a part in his trademark style. The UMI-2B was a very direct and easy to use sequencer/MIDI interface for the BBC Micro with what appears to be rock solid MIDI timing!

Might have been OK if they hadn't used the IBM PC full height floppy drives, even though full height drives existed in the early days for the BBC I suspect most people are more familiar with the half-height ones. A black and red keyboard would have been good as well.

Very nice indeed - BACK TO THE PET by shiru8bit - quite the test for an emulator, and something of a challenge perhaps for Mode 7 on the Beeb - amazing what can be done with character graphics.
