ABug Mini (Preservation Meet) 23 May 15, Brighouse

Post by Arcadian »

This has been cobbled together at extremely short notice but a group of us are meeting in Brighouse TOMORROW (10am) to firm up plans for the launch of the StarDot software archive:
  • Arcadian (Dave)
  • Samwise (Peter)
  • flaxcottage (John)
  • leenew (Lee)
  • lurkio (Chet)
  • jgharston (Jonathan)
  • IanS (Ian)
  • Gar2293 (Gary)
  • daveejhitchins (Dave)
I'd imagine that it's probably too late for anyone else to make plans to pop along - but should anybody local to W Yorks be interested in coming along, drop me a PM and I'll send details.

We'll post a summary of the meeting, actions etc in due course for the benefit of other members.

I'll be interested to know what you all decide, though I'm sure the plans will appear on this forum at some point. :)

Hopefully you had a better minute taker than me. Usually takes me weeks to turn minutes round, if I get around to doing it at all.

I don't think anyone took any detailed notes, not a lot of decisions made, just a few ideas for what to do next.

I did see some dodgy looking dealings going on in the car park

Arcadian said he had "some" discs for me to archive. Little did I know I should need a trailer!

There does look to be some good stuff there though on the educational front. Lots of esoteric stuff as well, like PANOS discs and CPM discs but that is already archived on MDFS.net.
