Keep your eye on the diving birds and get them first! And I know it's not over yet!

Also you get a new life every ? 3rd ? level (I think) - the levels after the two-birds-at-once levels - so if you survive those levels you extra an extra life. It's definitely on the level, not the score.

For scoring (at least on the first 2 levels) I think what happens is once you're over 1000 you get an extra life....but....you don't get that until you've finished the level. I haven't completed any other levels so I can't comment on them.

We'll have to give it another try. For a simple game, it's amazingly difficult.

Don't think so - I heard the extra life sound, looked up, and I was on 990. Maybe I am a bit better at this because there is less pixel-perfect timing required - left, right, shoot - I can just about manage!

Or you guys aren't trying hard enough.

That's what I first thought when I hit that score area.....it's a matter of keeping at it until you automatically start seeing patterns. You get in trouble when you deviate from those patterns.

@M_Ron - I agree, it's a pretty difficult game in lots of ways, requires strong focus all the way through.
