Not played this for longer periods than about 30 seconds in the past - I never had it BITD, and it always seemed a little uninspiring when I played it recently on emulation.

Playing it for a bit longer now - well, it's certainly challenging, I'll give it that. It seems to be one of those games that you get worse at the more you play. Perhaps it'll grow on me.

Awww, no-one likes my choice of game ... at least it's nice & simple!

1,580 from first try, and the screenshot also has the Beeb instructions

I seem to have missed most of my favourite games in the first round, but at least I got on the score list with this one :-)

It's perhaps growing on me a little. There's nothing particularly wrong with this game - it's nice and smooth, the collision detection's fine, and it's reasonably fair. Just can't say that I'm that enthused by it.

good choice, but don't like the eggs at bottom, or two flying down at same time :x . Could we mix this up, and have Mr Chuckie Egg running along the bottom to collect the eggs :-k
Just had another go, and 2,600 :D

I was thinking "this is easier than I remember" and then, as you say,
CMcDougall wrote:two flying down at same time :x .
, and it gets a bit harder.

I prefer Eagle Empire in this genre because of the level variety, but it seems a bit crashy on emulators and some real hardware (one of my projects that I might ONE day get around to working out why), so Swoop it was!

1670 after a small number of tries. I hope I get better at this game although Eagle Empire is more to my liking also.

Best score so far, not the most inspiring game ever, but playable. Reminds me a bit of Duck with the things flying down and laying eggs which get in your way.

That's what I thought, but the other way around ... never saw Duck BITD and when I played it for the challenge it reminded me of Swoop - also the bright colours and lots of things moving!
