I acquired most of Dave M's BBC collection about a year ago and have been slowly scanning in the inlays for all tape and disc based games.

The complete collection is now on Everygamegoing. Just search for the game title and then scroll down and download the inlay you're interested in.

A lot of the media is scanned too.

And finally a lot of the instructions are in html. If you want to extract the html you can scroll to the very bottom of the instructions and click 'View Html (Extracted)' and it'll give you just the html article so you can put it on another site, or 'View Plain Txt' if you just want it in plain txt.

Finally finally I extracted quotes from the reviews of the games at the time so you can see how well the game was received.

You might find links to some other bits and bobs that will intrigue you too... The site is very very big now.

Hi All,
After a very busy year of adding loads of instructions to various games, I thought I'd better print the current list of MIA game inlays that are still required (and not currently on Every Game Going or any other website I could find).

Note: I have been able to make some instructions from reviews and those games are marked with a *, but I would still like to see what the actual instructions said, if they said anything at all.

3D Tanx - Dk'tronics *
April Showers - Bevan (I believe inlay may not contain any info) *
Astro-Tracker - Beebug/Micro Mania
Bozo and Beebo - BPsoft
Draughts - Computer Concepts
Forbidden Fruit - Voyager *
FSS Liberator - Nebulae
Megarok - Bug-Byte *
Minefield - Graphic Research
Pharaoh's Curse - H-soft
Polar Perils - Squirrelsoft *
Robotron - Silversoft
Rubik Cube - Computer Concepts
Secta Invaders - PSS (the long info from the separate sheet required)
Space Hawks - Computer Concepts
Space Intruders - Interceptor
The Saint - Oak-soft
and
Zombies - Micro Power (maybe an old white label only with no info on it)

Many thanks again to anyone who can help locate these inlays.
regards,
Mick.

Someone could be sitting on a fortune here (from The Micro User issue July 1984) - apologies for it being sideways (it isn't on my phone or on pc):

Also I don't suppose anyone has the Locks of Luck by Magus tape inlay ?

I have this - do you still want it scanned? Found the tape when putting Christmas decorations back in the roof! I also have the inlay for What's Eeyore's in the same cassette case.

If you're talking about Locks Of Luck, then yes please! Do you happen to have the hint sheets too? If not, then scans of the front and back of the cassette inlay -- and any other documentation -- at as high a quality as you can manage would be very welcome. (I think I speak for fuzzel too..?)

Scans of that would be very much appreciated too!

Fantastic news about the inlays for Locks of Luck and What's Eeyores. If indeed RonBate has hint sheets as well then it would be doubly brilliant (although didn't you have had to send off for those ?)

Are you interested to sell the originals? I would like to buy them if so.

Actually, on checking the EGG archive, What's Eeyores, the Electron version, is actually missing. Not sure if you have an Electron version in the box with the inlay, or if it's BBC only, but maybe you could have a look and if there's an Elk version on the tape see if it makes it to UEF format?

Many thanks for uploading these, as lurkio's post above will attest, I spent many a happy hour playing these two classics so it's nice to see the original artwork for both games. Maybe one day someone will post the hint-sheets and I can find out if I missed anything (despite getting a full score in both games there were a few objects I never found uses for). Looking at the example instructions on the reverse of each inlay though there are some pretty major spoilers which would have saved me some considerable time if I'd been able to see them before playing, in particular, ATTACH BATTERY TO THE ENGINE and PUT IT ALL IN THE BOOT. Maybe the authors realised how hard the games were and felt they had to offer a helping hand.

Sorry, the Locks of Luck/What's Eeyore's tape has one adventure game on each side and both are clearly labelled BBC 32K so no Electron version that I can see but then again I don't have any Beeb hardware anymore so can't check.

Yes, if it's different from what's already up at Everygamegoing.com, or if it contains extra info that isn't there:
