BBCxFer / Disc faults

Hey guys<br>
Now I've got my beeb going I've started to transfer files... But i've got one file on a faulty disc. The trasfer program stops (I have to use R for retireve file as the get disc image doesnt work at all with my DFS version I think).<br>

Is there any way to get the program to trasnfer what it can.<br>

Or indeed - is there a bbc function or something that will retrieve what it can from a bad disc, or copy good sectors to a new disc or something???<br>

PS next up is to find a public domain place ot put the image files up for youse guys to play - this stuff was nearly published back in the day but I never progressed it fully at the time! Any recommendations?
