Probably me being thick here, but I could do with hand with saving Elite progress.

I'm using this emulator as it was the only one I could get working, as I read the readme files for the BeebEm emulators and decided I couldn't be arsed working out what creating makefiles was on about.

Anyhow, I've got Elite working using this Em and I can save progress using the # key, which allows me to save progress once I'm docked at a station and return to that point if I should meet my end taking on the local lwa enforcement... is it me or were those boys a lot harder when you were 6 years old.

However, if I close the emulator down and then try and reload my commander using the laod commander I end up back at Lave as a pleb again.

Do I have to use the emulator menus in some ingenious way I haven't yet fathomed out.... help please!!!!!

Saving Elite using modelb-dx3 emulator
Elite Save
Well, I've been playing Elite A using the DX8 version of Model B, and if I want to save a game I use a blank disc file. Then I go to the file menu and save that disc image.

Hope that helps, and hopefully you'll be able to work out what I'm getting at.
