Reactivity demo on A3010

Post by guibrush »

HI, I'm new o the Acorn world, therefore my question will certainly look strange.

I have a A3010 with a total of 4 Mb of RAM, and I'm trying to run the Reactivity demo. But when I launch it, the executable tell me that I need 3900K free to launch it.

I assume that I need to unload some modules at boot (I'm booting a pre-made image from a CF card now), but I fail to find a wey to disable them to have enough ram.

Can you point me to the right direction?

Thanks!

Reactivity is a RiscPC demo, so it's unlikely to work on an A3010, even if you have enough RAM. The full list of requirements are listed in the !Help file:
Requirements:
=-=-=-=-=-=-=
4Mb+ (needs 3800k free)
Vidc20 (all rpc/a7000 have)
StrongARM (will work without, but not so smoothly)

Thanks for your reply. I wrongly assumed that this demo was for the A3010, because it trashed the screen when I launched it on my riscPC. Looks like I'm doing things wrong on my riscPC too. I think I open a thread about that, because I'm not sure that I understand everything correctly.

Thanks!
