Sorry to hear that Dave. As long as someone’s there that knows the setup then we’re good. As I say, I’m still planning to be there in good time, just in case anyone arrives before me!

In my way now, looks like there has been a massive smash on the M40 at high wycombe, multiple fire engines so could be here a while

Solstice park, but now we have to go to a collection of a dozen or so craft outlets.

Hey everyone! Things are getting well underway in Camberley. I’m getting a little worried about having enough tables tomorrow, so if you have one you can bring with you, please do so, and if you’re not bringing as much kit and are able to share a table, that would also be much appreciated.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day but we’ll figure it out!!

Daft question alert :) If I do manage to get there for a bit tomorrow, is it obvious where to go? Do you go through the pub? Sorry if this is answered somewhere already but I couldn't see for looking.

We’re in the Hampshire Suite which is on the left hand side of the building, behind the beer garden, as viewed from the front. There is an entrance through the restaurant or through the beer garden. You can’t miss us. :D

Top tip — it's a lot easier to lug your kit via the beer garden.

As soon as you're through the entrance, nab the first parking spot you see — the beer garden/Hampshire Suite are on that side (West Wing) of the complex.

Good morning ABUGgers! It’s going to be a fun and busy day in Camberley. There are name badges and pin badges in the box on the bar. There are also snack, lots of snacks. Please eat the snacks!!

We’ve added an extra round table for no-kitters / laptop-only folks, please use that one and leave the long tables for kit.

I really enjoyed my morning at the meeting, everyone was so friendly and seeing what is being achieved with 40 year old technology was astounding. Thanks to all of those that were happy to talk me through their work, it was equal parts inspirational and intimidating to even think of trying to get close to what I saw today :)
Hope the rest of the weekend goes well, I will look forward to spending more time at the next event.
Cheers all

Although I only spoke to a few people when I popped in, what an impressively skilful group they seemed. And so much constructive activity going on all around.

Thanks!

Thanks kieranhj for organising a great event =D>

Although I could only make it on the Saturday, it was great we had sunny & nice warm weather, a big turnout and lots of retro-kit filling up all the tables along with familiar faces & having a catch up with lots of people. Thank you to those for their positive comments, feedback & interest on the Monster A3000, further tweaks & more mods next time…watch this space!

Have a lovely Sunday & enjoy the rest of the ABUG all.

Apologies people, I'm not feeling too good this morning (first phase of a cold I think) so am going to head home.

Hopefully see everyone at the next one.

Cheers.

Thanks everyone, especially Kieran for a great weekend. I did get the one tiny project done that I brought, but still didn't get to talk to everyone I wanted to :)

Thanks all in particularly Kieran for the effort organising. Home and unpacked now. I really enjoyed it, progressed some things, learnt some things, some things broke and successfully created even more weird conflicts on my Beeb

See you again.
