Thanks Elliot! I did know that but somehow forgot. I presume you'll be coming with your parent(s), otherwise not sure how you'd get here, if nothing else! :D

Yes please Kieran. Not sure if I'll be able to make all the days but pencil me in for the full weekend & I might have to drop back to Saturday only. If we get oversubscribed then I'm happy to come with no kit so no table needed.

Thanks, Chris

I'd like to come along again for a while, probably on Sunday, maybe Saturday. (I'm flexible if the room is full).
I haven't really done much Acorn-ish since the last ABUG South, so I won't have much to bring along. I won't need a table.

I am local as well + happy to help with stuff too. PM me if you want Kieran.

Yes please, I'd definitely like to come along. However life is crazy with family and work commitments at the moment, so I can only join for one day, Saturday, and I'd be arriving around midday.

Is anyone bringing down kit that would allow a Music 500 to be tested?

I can bring the Audio bits and the various versions of software I have, however, if known 'working' software is available it may be a better option!

Thanks Dave H.

Thanks Cruxinc. It’s going to get very busy on Saturday so if folks do have a spare table they can bring, that would be helpful! I know DaveH usually brings a couple.

ahh just checked in the shed and the one i thought we had is square and super flimsy, not enought to support anything near the 18 kilos that is a cub :(
sorry about that!
(if a square, flimsy table is of use i can still bring it :) )

Happy Easter weekend everyone! We're a mere two weeks away from our event so I've now sent requests for payment to you all by PM. It would be very helpful if you could remember to add your Stardot username in the PayPal message so I can match up your payment. :)

See you all soon!

The payment link in the PM handles that automagically. If you need to pay £30 you could just use it twice...

From the head post, no charge for non-participating people:
But those partners who just attend to socialise are welcome free of charge and without needing to take-up one of the places.
(Kieran would have the final word, of course, but it seems pretty clear to me. A chaperone is very like a partner.)

Hi Kieran,

Please amend the details for me to Saturday and Sunday. As I will be in the South West on Friday.

Also, you should have received my payment this morning.

Happy Monday everyone - just a short week to go before ABUG South gets started! I'm very much looking forward to it. \:D/

I thought it might be nice to share on the thread what hardware you're bringing and what projects you're looking to work on over the weekend. That way we might spot if people are looking for some additional help, or need to borrow some specialist kit (or steal an IC or two from one of our generous members).

I'll be bringing my BBC Master and some Teletext capable TV's to see if I can advance the slightly crazy idea that I had a few weeks ago which requires real hw to test on. :-k I'll also be bringing my A3020 as ever to show off the new demo on real hw and also work on my other project, depending on how I'm feeling. I've got a poorly Atari 2600 with no video signal, so hoping someone can have a poke around with that, and have a ZX Spectrum that needs a quick composite mod from someone that can be trusted with a soldering iron (i.e. not me!)

What's everyone else got going on? :D
