On Tuesday there will be an ABUG General Session, at 7, on zoom. (General Sessions run on Tuesdays, every three weeks. If you don't have the zoom coordinates, send a PM or ask in this thread. We don't publish them!)

- keep it interesting, or otherwise keep it brief
- keep it Acorn until 9pm
- encourage everyone who wants to, to join in, and to have the space to join in.
- Feedback always welcome, on the night or afterwards

Please use the chat, or PMs in the chat, to update me on anything, like the passage of time, or someone who has something to say. And let me know if you'll be needing to leave early.

Come and join in, to share the enjoyment we get from Acorn computing: things we bought, things we want, things we remember, things we've discovered, things we've learnt, things we've lost (but not things we've forgotten). Games, music, repairs and refurbishments, bargains found (and overpriced items left well alone.) Full attics and leaky sheds.

Acorn-related things, mostly, but we can talk about other things too.

If we go a bit technical and it starts to feel like a Dev Night, that's possible too - but on average a general session should be about half as technical as a dev night.

For a bit of a heads-up nearer the time, subscribe to this thread using the spanner gadget below - I'll bump the thread beforehand.

Note that maintaining a calendar for reminders is now up the individual - each type of session runs every other week. There are no formal invitations for these sessions: we reuse the zoom coordinates from previous sessions.

Following the meeting....

I have drawn up an engineering diagram of a monitor/computer stand. The stand will be capable of supporting a monitor with space for a Master/B/A. Initially, I have asked for a very simple stand to get a base price.

I have dropped off the diagram to the local engineering shop. I have asked them to quote for various production volumes. They will also recommend a company that can etch and paint in the correct colour.

I would like to keep this in the UK for initial production. Cost is key. If this is too expensive then this will not proceed.

I will post again as I get more information, and, if the the 'price is rights' then we can complete the requirements and final design.
