Hi, my Apple IIe MMU has started to affect the 1Mhz clock. With the chip inserted the signal doesn't reach the CPU. Does anyone have a spare 344-0010 B I could purchase?
Regards.

Re: Wanted - Apple IIe MMU 344-0010 B
Hope you can find one, mine died, well, became marginal, earlier in the year and finding a replacement wasn't easy.
My replacement came from Canada. IIRC, the MMU works anywhere, but the IOU is region based.
It may be worth considering hitting it with freeze spray to see if it makes a difference, I was able to verify mine was faulty by doing this.

That's good to know, these parts are definitely becoming unicorn items, so I wish them well with the project.danielj wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 9:41 am Also probably of interest:

I don't suppose you kept the marginal MMU? I've got a dead ex-attic Apple IIe and I suspect the MMU (it doesn't seem to correctly be doing the CXXX decode at least that's what the logic analyer says, RAM, EPROM, clock etc all test correctly). I'd like to try and confirm this diagnosis before going unicorn hunting. Most MMUs seem to come with a free motherboard attached....
