I remember this one from last time. Not a bad little puzzle game but the high score is limited.

Quite an enjoyable game, just like I recalled from the last time I played it. I don't normally like puzzle games as I prefer a bit of action, but this game provides something different for a change. Anyway, I managed to complete the objective (like last time around in the HSC) with a score of just over 19K. I think someone had about 20K last time but I'm not tempted to go back to try to maximise my score.

One of the things I dislike about this game is that you're penalised for being efficient. For example, you can get a higher score for not completing the objective than by actually creating the 2048 block. It was done last time when someone had a score of over 20K by purposefully not creating the 2048 block. Different tactics, I suppose, but it sort of violates the rule that you shouldn't farm points, and try to progress whenever possible. It's a tricky one as you could possibly create two 1024 blocks and genuinely not get them to fuse because they're at opposite ends of the grid. I was much more clumsy last time around and got a score of just over 19900, this time I was probably about as efficient as I could possibly be and only got just over 19200 :( . In my opinion, the game would be better if you were able to carry on after the creation of the 2048 block to get a higher score. Unfortunately this isn't the case and the high score is limited because the game doesn't loop (much like when we played Hobgoblim II and Blagger). Just a couple of my thoughts anyway

Finally managed a better score - not sure if I can get to the target, but this is a nice little game, very addictive, and proof you don't need flashy graphics to make a game you want to play loads !

Possibly the last go I'm going to have on the game as it's difficult to complete the objective whilst also trying to get a better score by deliberately going for a non-optimal approach. Still, an increase in my score from the last time we played the game, also breaking the 20K barrier :).
