Abuse - Bad file name '.Module.Toolbox.Toolbox'

I'm trying to get Abuse working (from here - the non-PD release) however, I get the following error when trying to run on RISC OS 3.11:

Bad file name '.Module.Toolbox.Toolbox'

Anyone know what that means? Also, does anyone know what the difference is between the original release and the PD version? Presumably the PD version is cut-down release as the zip is smaller?

It means you do not have a correctly structured !Boot. If you don't have a boot sequence, install one. If you do, update !System.

EDIT: Although that said, it looks like that copy has also been modified as all the "RMLoad <Auto$Dir>." lines in !Run should be "RMLoad System:"

Can I not just have a !System folder in the same folder as the game with the required modules present? I don't want to use uniboot just for one game as it significantly slows reboot times.

Obviously there's nothing stopping you from copying the Modules it wants into the game folder and modifying the !Run appropriately.

Seems to be futile, with the modules loaded it now reports a new error saying it needs 3500K to run. I only have 4MB memory.

This game does not run on RISC OS 3.1. The publisher's website makes that quite clear : https://www.rcomp.co.uk/leisure/abuse/abuse.html

Its also in the helpfile of the zip you downloaded...

Seems that this game is a port of a DOS game that works happily under DOSBox.
