Nursery Cryhme - anyone know of this game?

Post by Andyk »

I recently put this on for sale.
Struggling though to find anything about it. Google search comes up a blank.
I don't currently have a beeb tape player. I'm assuming it is a beeb tape as that was the computer we had growing up.
Anyone ever heard of this Magus game?

Yes I do, they were a couple of games in the Magus Nursery Chrymes series - What's Eeyore's and Locks of Luck (I believe more were planned but as far as I'm aware they never wrote a third). I loved both of those games - there are a couple of topics relating to those games here on stardot:

I'd never heard of them back in the day but I did have a copy of (literally) Village of Lost Souls, their tour de force, which was very highly regarded in the adventure playing community and also very, very difficult.
