Host is up from now .. was a bit late tonight getting going.
Switched over to a Pi1Mhz emulated HDD from an actual SCSI HDD.
Thanks to Ken Lowe last night for this with his helpful Pi Econet Bridge.

Speed for me has increased , not likely perceptible on the caller end
due to baud etc.

Anyways enjoy Night Owl tonight .. should run a bit later as I can go to sleep now
without hearing a SCSI whining all through the house..

Yes Ken ,

I am missing the sound of it already, Very different not hearing it
humming away in the background. I expect it won't be
out the picture entirely as I am just too attached to it.

I am also pleased to announce the BBS has been enhanced with
over 500 frames of 1980's Viewdata loveliness.
Beebfax is now Option 3 in the Retro YouTube channel section.
It's not quite how I want it but will keep refining things as time go on.

Much,much thanks to John Dale (Flaxcottage) and Tom Seddon for their help
in modifying this into an ADFS viewer that I could amend to work within the BBS.

There is also a new interview upload ,
with Tom Williamson , creator of the Wifi-Sheep Tech Channel.

Apologies to any folks who have been trying to access this
week and have not managed. The Host was transferred over
to PiMhz for storage(cheers Ken) and on the whole it's been fine ..
I'd been feeling things out the first couple of days with it but now
I see there are a couple of issues (more annoyances really)
that's why the BBS has not been regular
this week as I was trying to fix them.

I may decide to return to my SCSI HDD storage
again soon. I have a acquired a Pi Econet Bridge and will be setting
it up to enable HDD backup as well as other fun in time.

Host is up for a couple of hours now if anyone is interested.

I have been running late into the night
these past three evenings so some far afield callers

Thanks for your help with BEEBFAX John.

If you were using js-nightowl to access and got stuck
in there .. shift X will take you back out.
Seems to be a quirk with that particular method.
Pressing X will work with all others, only that one has an issue.

Incidentally I have an issue with your Beebfax code.
Could I PM you on this. I may need some code reworked
probably just a few lines but would defo need your help?
