4Mat Software

Post by Michael Brown »

Hi,
I have come across a game called World Geography from a company called 4Mat.

Before I add this to a new games disc, can anyone shed any light on this company, for instance, are they part of 4Mation?
Asking because I know 4Mation still hold their copyright to their software.
However, looking at the tape and inlay images of World Geography, it looks nothing like any of the 4Mation titles' tape or inlay images.

regards,
Mick.

4Mat was the early name for 4Mation.

Some early versions of Granny's Garden had 4Mat as their splash screen.

Now World Geography is MIA from the educational archive. Do you have the documentation?

Damn!

Yes that's the game.
It was on a old disc with other things from years ago.

Sadly, I d not have any docs for it.
It was modified by me to work from disc instead of tape and does work fully.

Shame I cannot use it.
Maybe at some point in the future?

I have put this game onto my latest educational disc for safe keeping.

Although I have not posted any of these discs here yet, I have been creating them with 18 games on each disc which consist of many games by major labels that are not on my main Games Discs compilations.

My aim is to create 10 of these from all sorts of educational software including Acornsoft to Micro User type ins.
Maybe when they are all complete, I will be able post them somewhere.
