RiscPC RAM tester

Post by IanJeffray »

I'd like a usefully rigorous RAM test tool, similar to @steve3000's mem14 for RISC OS 3.1 machines, but can be run on a RiscPC/A7000. Any suggestions?

The few PCs here are either 30pin SIMMs or DDR DIMMs.
And spending what is now "hundreds" on a 'retro PC' just to test RAM would be silly.
AND and my experience of memtest86 on the 386 is that it's no good anyway - said the thing was fine when it demonstrably wasn't.
And and and ... testing the SIMM doesn't test the RiscPC anyway.
