A starter score - great game - not sure why it confined to a PIAS compilation instead of a full release.

The PC remake is brilliant, as are the mobile phone versions, worth a look.

A little bump up....

What is a PIAS compilation, what does that mean?

First couple of goes from me. I forgot how devastating some of the "power ups" can be. I really wouldn't be able to keep track of what ones do what because there are so many of them flying around. I did get an extra life, but I also got reversed controls (which, surprisingly didn't hinder me too much).

I was going to ask about powerups, are they the boxes that fly down that I shoot as quickly as possible? I'm guessing I need to move the ship around to catch them instead?

2 shots to collect or just fly into them. Only problem is that not all of them are useful. I think that one can even kill you.

This game definitely isn't as hard as the first outing. I got to level 32 after 5 or so goes. Level 16 is a bit of a tough one though.

I have a vague memory that these aren't random, so once you know the order of the power-ups, you can avoid the death and slo-mo and concentrate of the fast firing and extra life power-ups :D

Never played Galaforce2 before today, good fun and nice to see beeb games that work with the joystick too.

Managed a reasonable first score on this one.
Hopefully I'll get the time to try and improve on it..

An improvement but it's hard to get a big breakthrough.

Not a big breakthrough, but a bit of a breakthrough at least. :D

In another game I got a few waves further than this but with a lower score and discovered a nasty little surprise...

Trying to imprint it in my brain now! #-o
