Requirements to reply to a PM?

I just noticed that I have a private message, but unfortunately I can't reply to it as the option for it doesn't appear. Trying to compose a new message reveals why:

We are sorry, but you are not authorised to use this feature. You may have just registered here and may need to participate more in discussions to be able to use this feature.

Clearly I haven't reached a threshold of posts to be able to reply yet... how many do I need to have in order to be able to do so?

I think the threshold is 25.
