Yup, looks like you're forcing him to play this again when I'm quite sure he doesn't really want to.......

Actually I don't really mind the game as much as some others I've played.

Alas, I've been up my father's and only just come back home so I haven't had a chance to play again. I guess it's just a case of "You snooze, you lose"

Well done Rod =D>

I won't be so merciful next time...

You weren't snoozin', you were visiting someone important, your dad......that's better than any old 8 bit game. I can't visit mine anymore for the last 2 years......so drink it in, it doesn't last forever on this plane of existence.

Point taken, Ed and you're absolutely spot on.

High Score Tables Updated for Season 19, Round 09......

Well, this one was also not too popular though it was a significant upgrade to the last game. Difficulty seemed to ramp up pretty quickly on this one though, typical 8-bit game.

We do have a winner, this time Rod C. . Great win Rod, with the almost absolute last minute push to get there. =D> =D> =D>

On a side note I'd like to thank all those who played this round. We had 9 playing this game this round so.....Thank you!!! It seems we are mostly averaging out at 11 so this participation is below average.

As usual please check to ensure I've not missed anyone's scores because it's easy to miss things on this and I really don't want to do that for anyone's hard earned score.

Thanks, Ed. Yes, it was a push to get there before the finish time so I was happy to finish playing on my best score.

I quite liked this game. It's pretty demanding but it's great when you get the flow going and the momentum carries you forward. So easy to make mistakes though. I don't think there's anything wrong with the programming but one thing that irked me was the little delay before you can take off after delivering a fuel pod. As for the challenges, level 4 seems very hard but doable but level 5 looks crazy!

Apparently it's possible though!

Lucky I didn't have to get past level 3!

Oh, did anyone else get to see the rare occurrence of all the enemies on level 1 going up and down all lined up together across the screen? Very off-putting!

Yup, had that a few times. I didn't find it a problem, in fact I probably did better on those than on the random placing ones.
