More 32bit dealer discs

Post by IanJeffray »

I don't think these have been uploaded anywhere before.

Starting with CS news 20 for A3010/A3020/A4000:

Can you also do them as ADF floppy images?

Sheesh. Some people are never happy. I didn't even get them all uploaded before the complaints started.
I don't much like this relatively recent penchant for throwing everything around as ADF images as they're less accessible than other formats, slower and more faff to make, but here you go anyway... and they still have to be zipped to be attached to this forum! #-o

Thanks, not a complaint, just a request :D The ADF images effectively archive the whole floppy rather than just the individual files, so easier to recreate a physical floppy from, and more suitable for use with emulators.

They also make it possible to sniff around the empty space for deleted data... sometimes there are interesting things hidden within :)
Questions about software preservation (BBC, RISC OS or other platforms)? Please feel free to ask.
Currently looking for RISC OS software to archive and preserve, please drop me a PM if you have any to offer.

I found several copies of the A5000 dealer test disc. I've not ADF'd this, as I don't see the point really, particularly when they're copies. But I don't think I've seen this archived elsewhere, so here we go...
