Wasn't sure whether to put this in LOLPRICE or LOLDESCRIPTION, but the price really beats it... I mean, silly prices and "retro_pixelss" go hand in hand, but... wow.
This would suit a Collector or maybe a publisher could take it on, which would get the game out there to everyone and would also net the publisher a significant amount of money in the process. The game appears to be complete and is fully working.

I love the way they charge £4 for p&p after asking for £25k. Nice. Does that include shipping insurance? :?:

A basic A3010 learning curve. Boxed, true, but is this the new value?

And the battery has not been replaced ...

And endlessly relisting stuff when it doesn’t sell. But never at a lower starting price though. Clearly not in a rush to sell.

Spectrum Next computers go for silly money anyway, so a dev version may well go for an insane amount...

These are a fabulous alternative, fully compatible, great quality and reasonable price with quality support and shipping. Thought I’d mention in case anyone was looking.

And something that looks like a real keyboard, which even £3500 apparently doesn't get you, either.

LOL! And actually this keyboard is superb quality it’s great to type on. I’ve never used a real Next but it would have to be special to improve on this IMO.

Is it just me or are Electron prices really high at the moment?

They seem to be offered now between £60 - £90 just for the console unit, more if working and with PSU, and VERY much more with a Plus 1.

Silly money, but sold as working so eBay buyer protection would kick in very quickly if it were faulty. Very clean looking system though. Looks to have been stored well, so maybe they will be lucky.

Nobody is ever, ever, going to buy their items at those prices though. And meanwhile they have to manage the inventory and have somewhere to store it all etc. The karma balances out.

It seems like at least two people lost their minds : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/155461642493 - almost £600 for a "parts or not working" incomplete A3010. What on earth?

When RMC showed off a big donation recently, one of the featured machines was an A3010, and there were quite a few approving comments including people saying how rare Archimedes are (plus mentions of battery leakage, and so on). Although one might think that a single YouTube channel might not drive commercial activity, sometimes things generally conspire to do so: other channels might be motivated to make related content and to try and build on audience interest. And there are people with money to spend, apparently.

Does someone think it's an Adelaide based on the serial number perhaps? Still a bonkers price. Wait until it magically appears for sale again in a week or two because one of his mates was bidding it up and accidentally won it.

There's an A5000 that keeps appearing that I saw the original sale for at about £89 now back on, unchanged at around £200+ It's the one with no lid, assuming it's still floating around. Has been relisted a few times and is now on from a different eBay account but "strangely" with exactly the same photo's as before. It has very distinct AA batteries connected to it so quite easy to identify from previous listings.
4~ x Beebs, 1 x A3020, 1 x A3010, 1 x A3000, 1 x Master 512, 1 x Master Turbo, 1 x Master Compact, I could stop, If I wanted to...

The very one Ian  , seems he also lists stuff under "smiths_swag" too now. So I'm not the only one who spends far too much time perusing eBay :).

If it can be won for around that price, yes. It looks in good cosmetic condition, is working, has an SD card fitted and a SCART RGB lead.

It also looks to have the 8271 DFS fitted although the DFS ROM is missing. That would be easy to get and install.
