Post by TimoHartong »

I'm happy to announce that the Big Ben Club will held on Saturday 14 may 2022 between 10:00 and 16:30 L.T. The admission is as usual free and drinks are available at a modest sum. More information when available will be available on our website

Best of luck, hopefully Big Ben will actually be chiming the hour again by that time, and hopefully broadcast at 12noon on the BBC World Service!

That brings back memories ;-)

In ye olde days, I was a member of the Big Ben Club - there was a school with a room full of Beebs. Most other schools in my area either did not have a computer room, or were using C64 and the like.

I still have some old Asterisks, plus copies of several Big Ben Club Diskettes ;-)
BBC-B (my first computer, 1983?), Electron (1985, virtually unused)
BBC-B and BBC Master 128 with DataCentres from Mark@RetroClinic (2018, 2019)
Refurb/upgrade projects: BBC-B (2x), BBC Master 128, Electron with Plus1 and Plus3

Maybe you could dig out those Big Ben Club diskettes? They probably have a few hitherto undiscovered programs on them!!
