Arculator and ZIP files

Post by ericde45 »

Hello,

once again i will stand as a complete noob :)

i am trying to unzip files in arculator
so i installed sparkFs using the basic self extracting version, settting its type to basic, and run it
i get a !SparkPlug file in my virtual HD

but when i try to run either the !SparkPlug or double click the .zip file itself ( file type of the zip file : Archive ), i get a "system ressources can not be found"

what did i miss ?

is there a better way to handle zip files in Arculator ?

( unzipping them in windows, and copy them to Hostfs loose some files )

You're using the old version of the sparkplug extract file, which looks for the !System folder, even when it's not needed.

Use the new version here: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=20480&p=303761

I encountered the same problem myself, but I didn’t know about the updated version so I simply commented out the line in the !Run file which was looking for the system folder (by using the comment symbol which is |).

Although this probably isn’t the best solution, it worked for me.
