The seventh all-day "Virtual" ABug meeting will take place on Saturday, September 5th and will be presented in association with the Centre for Computing History museum in Cambridge.
Had it not been for CV19 - we would have been staging a physical ABug gathering at the museum (combined with an "Acorn World" event) on the same weekend. However the museum doors remain closed hence the event will now take the form of a virtual event using Zoom.
Times remain difficult for our allies at the museum; they effectively lost all of their weekly income overnight when the lockdown kicked in. Therefore we encourage any members that are in a position to do so, to make a donation to support the museum via their Just Giving page.
This event will be packed full of talks from ex-Acorn/Acornsoft personnel and will also feature some content broadcast directly from the museum.
The running time is 9am - 11pm UK time.
To reserve a place, please respond in this thread and advise which session(s) you think you'll be able to attend (Morning, Afternoon, Evening).
We intend to cap the event at 50 places. All presentations will be recorded and will be added to the ABug.org.uk website in the week following the event.
