Hi Jonathan, welcome!
New members are just as welcome and valued at the Virtual ABug events as long-standing users are.
Whether participating, lurking or a mixture of both; it's all good.
CommanderCoder and Jonsoft added. 6 places remaining.
Hi Jonathan, welcome!
There are a few example programs in the System 1 User Manual, but they're fairly functional and not very eye-catching. If you're after something a bit more "glitzy" , I could throw something together for you by the weekend. Would you be typing the program in, or using the cassette interface?TimoHartong wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 6:18 pm Does someone have nice demonstration code for the system 1 ?

Well the Midlands user group did one last month, and the Wakefield group did one tonight. ROUGOL (err, that's me!) are thinking about it for our usual 3rd Monday of this month.
Here's a program I've put together for you, which is just 35 bytes to type in:TimoHartong wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 8:24 pmIt is for the live interview at the computer museum on Saturday and it will be typingKazzie wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 8:04 pmThere are a few example programs in the System 1 User Manual, but they're fairly functional and not very eye-catching. I've added you both to the list. (Lee, there is nothing you need to do to join, other than asking to attend - which you have done. )
Thanks Richard!richardtoohey wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2020 9:49 amThink Dave might have missed that - I've had a stab at putting it in the top post but might need some tweaking!
Thank you
I have now added you to last place.
If the hosts agree you can take my place in the morning. I will attend after lunch. It's a pity that I will miss the speakers in the morning but I hope to watch them later. Speaking of which.... where can we view the sessions of the past event(s)?billcarr2005 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 05, 2020 4:38 pm How did i miss the announcement of this?
I'm happy to jump in if there are any cancellations
