As last time, I may be doing a spot of DIY or whatever that day, so likely will dip in and out (and I could turn off video if I do disappear for too long).

I'll be taking part in another zoom gathering between 10am to 11am (but I could show my face on that one and say hello, then come back to the ABUG one).

There are a few example programs in the System 1 User Manual, but they're fairly functional and not very eye-catching. If you're after something a bit more "glitzy" , I could throw something together for you by the weekend. Would you be typing the program in, or using the cassette interface?

Well the Midlands user group did one last month, and the Wakefield group did one tonight. ROUGOL (err, that's me!) are thinking about it for our usual 3rd Monday of this month.

Getting hold of Tony Cheal would be great, I used to really like the design of the Ace Computing range of applications. Drop me a PM or email (see contact page on website) and we can discuss it without polluting this thread!

When run, it clears the display, then waits for any key to be pressed. On every keypress, it displays one additional character on the display, then loops round to a blank screen again.

It runs fine on my System 1, but you may want to test it (perhaps on speleotrove's emulator) beforehand, just to check I didn't make any transcription errors. I'm assuming you know how to program it into a System 1 and run it, but if not: just ask!

I probably won't be able to make the session on Saturday, but hope to watch edited highlights afterward.
