Looks beautiful, very hard to play though, made it to the third boss who pummeled me with a barrage of fiery projectiles.

I haven't played this one before although I had the original on the Electron. I can remember it being a little "fiddly" to play. I'll have a go later after work.

I've never really given this game a chance in the past. I'd not played it enough to realise you get a 'boss fight' at the end of each level so always thought it wasn't as good as the first game. Just had a quick go and realised I was wrong.
I'm really quite good at Yie Ar Kung Fu 1 so hopefully my skills will transfer well here.
This was in an emulator and unfortunately the score is corrupted when playing on a master so I won't be able to use real hardware unless some bright spark can hack a master compatible version for me.
My first go gave:

So I had a few goes on real hardware. Turns out I have a problematic X key.

I don't think this is quite as good a game as Yie Ar Kung Fu. There's a nice variety of opponents, but the projectiles can really quickly wipe you out. The game speeds up second time around... Best so far: 50,100

Little further boss 8, punching while up close seems to work better.

Here's a little jump in score from me. I'm not really feeling the love for this one, it just seems too random and the "fighting" doesn't involve any other strategy than just mashing buttons :( .

I completely agree. Yie Ar Kung Fu 1 is a much better game. My good scores occurred when I was lucky enough for the 'weapons fire' from the enemies to be light enough for me to close the distance and repeatedly punch them in their big toe.

A bit better, pretty hit and miss for me....and it's a key cruncher.....glad I'm only destroying a PC keyboard, not a Beeb one.

Had a go with the new jsbeeb ... think there's some bugs in jsbeeb's keyboard handling or my desk is too small

I haven't got enough fingers :-({|=

4300 ... can do better ... on a different keyboard/desk/planet [-X

Good to see you Richard! Game on for the low score - I was handicapped by a sticky key on my Beeb, so just swapped out the keyboard which helped a bit, but I’m all fingers and thumbs with this game!! Paul
