Circus (AcrobatTV) for the BBC Micro (continued from RetroSoftware)

I've got a new capture setup so thought I would post Circus on a real beeb with commentary.

I originally called it an emulator, in the spirit of MAME, but you could also think of it as a source code port without the source code - I just disassembled it, but didn't actually re-assemble it, I just patch the ROM with an overlay.
The idea was that if there were any copyright issues that the ROM could be removed from the .SSD and people could supply their own, much like BBC emulators used to do with OS and BASIC, or indeed MAME.

The game does not work on my BBC Master (downloaded from the BBC Archives)

Have you got your OS swapped to Master?
It should work anyway, except the Paddle won't work.
What does it do compared to http://bbcmicro.co.uk//jsbeeb/play.php? ... ssd&noseek (jsbeeb in master mode MOS 3.20)?
You will need a "paddle" to play it properly, I use modified atari paddles and one of my adaptors, but even a POT on the end of three wires should do!
Keys:
5 - insert coin
1 - 1P start
2 - 2P start (if supported)
After the instructions, it should go in to attract mode.
An analogue joystick is just about usable, but it is much more difficult!
