that is very good scanning.

Out of interest which is the best graphics ROM for the BBC? I think there are three altogether? (and a number of cassette based packages)

Out of the two graphics ROMs Acorn GXR is by far the more polished product and has the advantage of being built in to the Master series machines.

The CC Graphics ROM has some interesting features but feels a bit gimmicky and is quite sloppily implemented. It doesn't work on Masters or with a second processor. It is also highly dependent on BASIC so won't work with other languages.

Thank you for this, dv8. I found an unknown ROM in my machine which I managed to identify as Graphics Extension 2.09. Now I know exactly what it does thanks to you :D

Nice and a very well done job. I could have sweared that the ROM I own could not use variable parameters but the manual says different, I suppose it is due to age (not ROM's, mine).
