Psion P250 ?

Post by CMcDougall »

sort of continuing from the last one (still no further forward #-o )

viewtopic.php?f=45&t=17450#p241807

I now have P250 :

Now with a 128k dataPak, it's a square chip not a eprom like before.
The prog on it is some kind of timesheet V3.4 dated 1986 (password was PJ I think...)

again, does this handheld computer have a built in OS or all from the dataPaks??
I ask, as when I take the dataPak out, turn on, it just says "Data Pak?" , which is a pain as burnt a games Pak, so still can't play it!

so, which OS image do I need to burn to a 27128 (16k) eprom, so can get menu, then load the games Pak =P~

£20 for an LZ! With datapak, bargain! Then you can code the unlock boot on that and get your other two working :)

missed that, but don't really want to spend any money on them  as don't mean anything to me from BITD :|

All I need to know is does this need a DataPak in one of the two slots for OS, or is the OS built in to bare Psion P250??
If needs a DataPak inserted, what OS should I burn to now 2 useless packs full of old data that's not required.

The P250 (and P464, and all other POS models) can be patched to run as normal Organisers.

Jaap's Pos2Org will do it for 2-line (CM/XP/P250) models, there's also one for the P464 that I can't find at the moment.

organiser2.com is now the place to get help with these little guys.
