NOVA 19 demoparty: 21-23 June 2019, Budleigh Salterton, Devon

Hiya folks, it's that time of year again.

NOVA, the UK's largest and longest running demoparty, will be taking place down in sunny Budleigh Salterton in Devon across the weekend of 21st - 23rd June.

You can find all the info, including tickets on the website: http://novaparty.org/. As always, booking accommodation early is advised, as the town is quite small and gets filled up with oldies on walking holidays (the banging party in the town hall comes as a bit of a surprise to them )

Bitshifters will be in attendance once again, although due to work commitments & some unexpected changes of circumstance, there are no promises for a new BBC demo this year but we'll do what we possibly can.

If you'd like a weekend geeking out with an awesome set of events and competitions featuring some of the best coders, artists and musicians in the country (and beyond) then I can highly recommend it. First timers are made very welcome!

Our very own VectorEyes and Tom Seddon have taken up the Bitshifters mantle this year, so we'll see what they come up with for the Old School demo competition.

I must've joined around the same time, excellent demos, but no idea what I missed beforehand.

Could be tempted to attend sometime, maybe next year. The website says there's someone there that recaps Amigas, is that a regular attendee, my original A1200 has not been powered for many years so is probably due some attention.

Definitely come along! Vampire is a regular fixture here doing Amiga recaps. I brought along sbadger's A600 for that very reason.

OMG, yes! I should have also added that Stardot’s very own Sarah Walker has made the first new Archimedes demo in probably 10 years... and pretty awesome it is too!!
