Only a small bump. I've been trying a different playing style - only shooting the attackers - and it's taken me a week to beat my old score.

That's why I was confused....there are 2 of them and they are essentially the same game. Yup, think that's what I was thinking about.
Yes, that's the one, Star Striker. Many thanks

Consistently getting between 11 an 13k now after a few warm up rounds and quit and restarts.

My 14inch CRT monitor died and it was really difficult when I switched to this LCD TV. It felt like I had to re-learn how to play the game.

Anyhow, new highest score, way ahead of what I have done before... I think it was more luck than skill :-)

New score 17,880

Final High Score Table updated for Season 11, 2nd Round......

In a game that he was out front of from the start....
JoolsH did well to win this one. This was a much tougher game than most 'Space Invaders' type games are. Congratulations on a great win Jools. Very well done!!! =D> =D> =D>

Oh now this I need to get in on.
I'm now the proud owner of of a beautifully refurbished BBC Master 128 and Arcadians was my favourite game.
Since those heady days though I've only ever played the arcade original, Galaxian.
My current hi score on Galaxian is about 35,000 but I don't know how to convert between the scores.
I need to connect my Beeb to my Sony HD CRT Studio Monitor though, so there's that to fix first.
