Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
How often do you visit to do some scanning? There's a handful of Torch leaflets, a couple of pages each, that I'd like to see scanned if you wouldn't mind on a future visit? I've discussed them with the museum and they agree they should be prioritised for scanning, but no idea when that will happen.

Very rarely, unfortunately. I live over 100 miles away and it is a drive of over 2 hours each way. Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
Great.
Could I ask you to look if there are any type-in games listings in either of them for the BBC Micro or the Acorn Electron please.
If not, I can cross them off the list.
If there are, I would appreciate decent mobile phone photos of the article and I will type them in and add them to bbcmicro.co.uk.
Thanks,
Lee.

Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
I need to check the other magazine for listings, that’s all I could manage to do before I left.
Are you only interested in ones specifically targeting the Beeb? Or do you want to see ones which have conversion notes?
Yes good to see you and others at the weekend

Thanks for that listing.
It is borderline as a game but I will type it in anyway... just in case
It would be great if you could check those other mags.
Just let me know if you find any beeb/ Electron listings and I will check if any of them are missing games.
Don't bother with the ones for other computers which have conversion notes....
Thanks again,
Lee

Thanks for those.
There is no need to bother with the photos until I check if the games are missing.
Simon and Shuttle are already archived.

Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
Hi
I have had a closer look at your photos...
The only magazine that needs looking through is PERSONAL COMPUTING TODAY.
You DON'T need to check the following as we already have the games from them:
Feb 83 Squash
Jan 84 Night Raid
June 84 Whack-a-Mole
Jan 85 Hyper Combat
Thanks you
Lee

Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
Ok no worries. I’ll have a look next week.
Once photos are taken from these magazines they’re being donated to RMC for the cave library. I was there last night and they have loads of other magazines if you would like me to look the next time I’m volunteering there.

Yeah, that's a bit of a strange one...
I have Asteroid Lander as being a commercial release as I *think* it was released commercially first, before being listed in the magazine later.
The site only let's me use one "release type".
There are probably 2 or 3 games on the whole site that have this kind of release history...

Also found "Bug Battle" for the Atom by G.Dunnet in C&VG magazine September 1983 if you want that?
