Missing Magazines from the 80s
Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
Also found "Snakes & Ladders" for the Atom by A. Worral in C&VG magazine July 1982 if you want that?
Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
Also found "Haunted House" for the Atom by Alec Pearson in C&VG magazine August 1982 if you want that?
Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
Not sure if it's counted as a game but found "Predictor" for the BBC/Electron in Personal Computing Today May 1984. it doesn't appear on the bbcmicro.co.uk site. Let me know if you want that.
Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
Found "Knights" for the BBC by Freda Perrow in Personal Computing Today May 1983 which isn't on bbcmicro.co.uk, again let me know if you want pics of that.
Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
I think I actually typed this one in myself! As far as I remember, we have 100% coverage from C&VG, but if you spot anything we missed: But we don't have any Atom titles from Personal Comupting Today, where you located Trang from.
Many thanks,
Dave
Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
I'm very interested in the Atom listings from Personal Computing Today, which are all MIA:
viewtopic.php?p=359913#p359913
(We currently have nothing in the Atom Software Archive from Personal Computing Today)
From the covers you posted it looks like there are Atom type-ins in the following:
- November 1982
- December 1982
- March 1983
- May 1983
Plus any others you can find.
Dave
Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
Hi,
I don't need Predictor, but I will have KNIGHTS please
I have a feeling it isn't game, but maybe a version of "Knight's Tour"?
Thanks,
Lee.

Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
Let me know if you need anything from Personal Software - Spring 1983 as I cannot see the following on bbc games archive, but then again my searching skills are crap
Gomuka
The Maze
Life
Gomuka
The Maze
Life
Pitfall, Gridrunner, Matrix: Gridrunner 2, LaserZone, AcornViewer, AcornPad
Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
Thanks for "Knights".
I don't need anything from Personal Software Spring 1983.
I have already typed them all in.
It should be pointed out that there are still hundreds of games that have been typed in but not yet uploaded to the site.....

If it's not too much trouble, I would love to see all of these articles captured.picosonic wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 1:23 pm Atom listings are as follows ..

Re: Missing Magazines from the 80s
I was volunteering at the RMC Cave on Friday night. There are tons of magazines but no Personal Computing World or any others which may have listings for Acorn computers except the usual suspects (A&B / Micro User / Acorn User / Electron User / C&VG) - I imagine you’ve already got listings from all of those or they’re online somewhere.
