Slippery Slug Movie Maker
This was in an awesome pile of stuff from Ebay.
No Manual but there's a disk that I will attempt to read over the weekend.
For now heres the background co-ordinate map.

Re: Slippery Slug Movie Maker
Finally got the Manual for Movie Maker.
However the PDF is 9Mb at 200DPI.
I'll give it another go at 150DPI

Re: Slippery Slug Movie Maker
What we did for another book might help: if you're scanning monochrome (black and white) text, and if you DON'T want high-resolution archive-quality scans, then use your scanner's "Text" setting (image bit-depth = 1). And 300 dpi. If there's too much "noise" in the scanned image, adjust the scanner's "Threshold" setting.marcusjambler wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2019 1:37 pm Finally got the Manual for Movie Maker. But if you're scanning in colour... you're on your own!

Re: Slippery Slug Movie Maker
It's so great able to read this. It fills in all the gaps so much. I can remember the manual from all those years ago. One thing I couldn't work out was to do with Segments...also how to delete one frame from a cycle.
One thing I would love to be able to do is import a mode 7 screen into movie maker. I wonder how you can go about that.
Maybe a bod here can have a look............you can't load a mode 7 screen in so you would have to do it another way..........I did try once to look at a movie file an examine it but on my pc it just came out as gibberish.
Anyway it really is amazing to have this Marcus. Thank you ( and Lurkio ) for helping out here! I encourage everyone to have a go and do some little animations. It's a brilliant bit of software.

Re: Slippery Slug Movie Maker
Hurrah!
Re: Slippery Slug Movie Maker
The manual download in this thread doesn't seem to work - has anyone else had a problem? Or can someone post another link?
Re: Slippery Slug Movie Maker
It's working fine here - could the problem be with whatever PDF reader you're using?
