Does anyone know how you can get the lift to go down in the pyramid lift room, the obvious thing would be carry the lead weight and anvil when you stand on it, but that doesn’t work. Also tried dropping them on the lift, but the game doesn’t let you, so I’m a bit stumped.

Did you ever solve this? This page also states that you need the lead weight and the anvil to make the lift go down.

I completed this recently! The anvil/lead weight are for a different lift. The one in the temple *should* start working after flicking the switch in the room where the statue is.
