I remember that. The next year Acorn Computing and the BbC subscription disc were gone.

Interesting! Didn't realise the great Mad Hatter himself had reviewed Bladedancer! Thanks for the upload!

Yes, Bladedancer is a very intriguing game -- one of the last commerical games for the Beeb and one of the last "big" games missing from all archives.

That's why it would be great if we could get images (data-dumps) of the discs for our archives, to preserve the game and allow it to be played again. (Most of us have never even seen it before!) What a great contribution to this community that would be..!

That would be much appreciated by all. Would it be possible to get a 600dpi scan for our preservation archives?
Any news about this (the cover scan)?

Just to bring the thread up to date -- a different copy of Bladedancer has now been found and archived:

I remember playing Tax & Please (on Windows) at secondary school (1995-2002). Do you have a copy of it, or know where I could get one?

Guessing you don't have enough posts to PM the guy directly?

Eitherway, thanks for resurrecting the thread, as I'd never stumbled across this gem of a game before :D
Was fascinating to read about the history of it - and also the trials and tribulations involved in its archival!
