Incredible use of colour in that one, with the blue-magenta palette really setting the tone. Very well done!

Not sure this could be turned into Mode 7 as it's all about colour cycling in Mode 2.
It is an excellent example of what can be done with the new colour cycling features in the Art4Eva art program.

this is really good! do you use software on the beeb to do this or do you just use code?

Ah interesting question. Today I have been playing with code and BBC Basic SDL for Windows.
I wrote a basic program that draws skies and stripes for clouds and some basic buildings.
Then I took that program and copied it into the brill Telepaint teletext art package that Fourthstone wrote in BBC Basic SDL.
He put a custom Button in there under the 'C' menu which means when you press it - it runs a procedure called PROC CUSTOM1
So it's really easy to write a little program in BBC Basic and copy it in and have it working in the Teletext Editor.
I then added a few lines in the picture generated and a planet and the odd seperated graphics code to make it look interesting.
I could expand the program more but its just a basic thing to get the ideas started.

Here's what my code generates.....I find the simplicity is so nice and it surprises every time
I am going to tackle Music 5000 next and see if I can get some random music going
