Jason I remember speaking to you at the Leicester meetup, and asking about your led ring for your microscope, you said you may have a spare that I could have.......

Cheers.

Did I spy a Communicator in one of the earlier photos? As far as I know the ROMs have never been dumped, hope someone can rectify this.

Was a good day out, got my new MGC, my new star dot tshirts and saw (heard) the next gen Beeb sound.

Plus me and my daughter played ever game in the place. And she says that Tricky's frogger is better than Acornsofts (which was on the electron in the main room).

Good organisation and looking forward to next year!

Edit: oh and the AP5 in action. Beebscsi mini was work in progress when I was hanging about.

That's a very good idea! It must have a 65816 Basic, I think - see photo here.

We had one of Jason's more recent green batch that wouldn't run the x86 or ARM designs properly - appeared to be an issue with the external RAM. When I left Jason and someone else (I didn't catch his name) were trying to work out what was up with it (and we'd been wrestling for several hours by that point).

We were using the latest released firmware from Nov 2016

It was me. Dave what ram speed it the copro expecting? With 70ns rev E chips tge x86 doesn't appear to work correctly some times you get ram faulty type 0/xxxx where xxxx appears to be random.

RevD ram at 70ns appear to work. Jason has tried all the usual tricks of adding extra decoupling etc.
