I'm good to go, however, to try and keep costs down (need to start saving the pennies now!) I 'may' bring the caravan, if I can find a nearby site that's open in January!!

I'd love to come seeing as it's only 20 mins down a country lane but even this far ahead I'm still not sure what my circumstances will be in Jan. Maybe I could drop in on the Saturday for a few hours and just say hi to everyone.

Take care when choosing your room. The online booking software is a bit weird.

You can get a room for the two nights with breakfast at the inclusive price of £117. This price shows up on two deals. With one deal you have to pay now and with the other you can pay at the hotel. The deals otherwise appear to be exactly the same.

I ended up paying now, but with the option to cancel with a full refund up to the 26th. As you say, all a bit weird. £117 for two nights with breakfast seemed ok.

IMPORTANT

My apologies for this duplicate post. All of my BeebOPLs are now sold or spoken for. I have the parts left for just one more unit, following which I am not planning to do another run of PCBs.

Someone on Facebook wants the final kit. However, at the ABUG meet up in Bolton, someone asked me to bring them a kit in January. The problem is, I can't remember who that was and, therefore, I do not know whether or not that someone has reserved one of this current batch. If that person was you, please can you let me know if you want one as soon as possible.

Having another working scope to test it with would be useful - anyone up for giving me a hand with figuring out what's wrong with it at the meet up on the Saturday?

The hotel - is it the one by the roundabout on the A50 Markfield Lane junction? Google street view tends to support this idea but the hotel website puts it at the other end of Markfield Lane after the farm shop.

3. I can sit with you and look suitably baffled whilst you try to fix your 'scope
