Quite a few people stay at the Holiday Inn. But it isn't the only or, I suspect, the cheapest place to stay.

I'm close enough to travel up each day, but Holiday Inn is close by. Dave said he's staying at a Premier Inn.

I'll stay at the Holiday Inn. But without a car. I practised driving at the left side of the road but I failed at the highway

I think I have to walk or ask somebody to drive me.

I've chosen the Premier Inn this time . . . A little further away (about 6 miles), however, almost half the price!

'Afternoon,

Thanks for formally adding me to the list of Saturday attendees. Looks like I might be going to a gig in Preston the night before, in which case I'd hope to be down in Bolton promptly on Saturday morning (temptation to indulge in a little bus-spotting beforehand notwithstanding).

Anyhoo. Don't I owe someone some payment for this by now? Happy to stump up right away as directed.

Thanks and bests,

Per my post above, could I be added to the list as well, please? I'd also need payment details so I can transfer the funds. I'd only be a Saturday attendee.

Sorry guys! I've neglected this thread for a while but I'm getting it up to date today.
  1. I've updated the lists on the top post of this thread.
  2. If you want to attend the curry please let me know in this thread.
  3. If you want to attent Arcade Club please let me know in this thread
  4. If you think you have paid but are not marked as paid please let me know in this thread.
  5. I'll be pm'ing everyone today with details of the venue and how to pay.
  6. If you have any requests regarding snacks let me know in this thread. I get 10% discount at Morrisons and there are a couple quite close to the venue so I could pop along there on the Friday to stock up!

Thanks for the PM - I've just made payment. It's a "no, thank you" for the curry and a "no, thank you" for the Arcade Club.

Many thanks.

Have paid via PayPal. Will definitely make the Sunday, am currently trying to see if I can do the Saturday as well but it depends, its unfortunately my other half's birthday that weekend so I'm probably going to have to take her out on the Saturday :(

Cheers

I will post some photos of it (I think there are accompanying manuals and other bits and bobs) sometime this coming week; please feel free to send any expressions of interest or offers via PM once I've done that. Can't stress enough that it's untested, but it looks in good nick.

With apologies for the delay in getting these loaded up, here are photos of the above as promised.

I used this printer regularly up until about twenty years ago, usually in conjunction with Mini Office 2, and although it's been unused since then it appears to be in decent physical condition (other than the printing latterly became faint and the ribbon may need replacing - I presume ribbons can still be sourced, if needs be?). All leads and plugs are included. Again, I will post photos of it sometime this week, and will be happy to receive any expressions of interest or offers via PM subsequently.

Here, too, are shots of the printer, should anyone wish to express an interest:

Finally for now, and not previously mentioned in my earlier posts, here's something else I've dug out of attic surplus in the past few days which I can't ever envisaging me getting round to using in anger. It appears to be a teletext adaptor by RH Electronics - completely untested but in reasonable nick as far as I can ascertain. Again, do please let me know via PMs if you'd like me to bring it along to Bolton with a view to a potential purchase:

Simon,

I paid a couple of weeks ago, but just realised I forgot to post that I had - so doing that now. (Sorry  )

I see that you already have me down for all three days and for the curry. :D If I may, I would like to see how I feel at the time about Arcade Club. I am not yet convinced it's my kind of thing - but I am open to persuasion.
