Hi all.

After our trips to sunny Bolton we'll be heading back to Halifax for this meet.
I've been exchanging pm's with richardtoohey and he'll be in the UK and available on these dates so I thought it'd be a good idea to build a meetup around his visit.

I have booked our usual room at Premier Inn, Halifax South on the following dates:
Friday 10th: 6pm - 10pm
Saturday 11th: 8am - 10pm
Sunday 12th: 8am - 5pm

At a cost of £150.

Cost: £15 per person, if people also want the Friday evening I'd be willing to book it but those attending on the Friday would need to meet this cost between them A member has generously offered to cover the cost of the Friday session.
Tea and coffee costs £2.50 per person per day extra. I'm thinking a kettle and tea bags/instant coffee sounds better than a possible £100 extra.
I need 10 people to cover the cost of this event. More than this will cover the cost of tea, coffee and snacks (not to the standard we've gotten used to in Bolton!). Any remaining money would be added to the ABug fund. If possible I'd like to collect the money early so that I'm not chasing people up near the time of the event so If payment could be made as soon as possible but by the 1st of May at the latest that would be great.

Curry night on Saturday at Syhiba in Sowerby Bridge, please let me know if you want to attend. Syhiba's website,tripadvisor lists it as #5 in Sowerby Bridge

Obviously you will have the cost of a hotel room for one or two nights if you want to stay.

The meeting, as always, will be pretty informal so let us know what you will be up to.

I'll not be there on the Friday evening as I'm coming down (very!) early Saturday morning so any meal arrangements will have to be sorted out between the people there. The pub's handy though.

There are 20(ish) spaces available, so please post in this thread and send me a direct PM/email to check availability and have your name added to the list.

I've also suggested having a discussion about booking the room on the Friday evening. If we were to book it then it would be available from 6pm until 10pm though we usually seem to come out a bit later than that!

I think going to Syhiba on Saturday night is a great idea! Maybe we can get this organised so we avoid the confusion we had at Bolton? I'll add a list to the top post of those attending the curry night and I'll book a table before we arrive in Halifax. Just to clarify the cost is £15 and I'll be bringing a kettle and tea bags, instant coffee, milk etc unless eveyone wants to pay the extra £5 for two days tea and coffee. If we get 20 people attending then there will be enough money to cover the additional cost, if not we can always add it on the day and have a quick collection to make up any shortfall. Let me know what you want.
