Sound distortion problems.

Hi,<br>
I'm currently using Thomas Harte's acorn electron Emulator (ElectrEm v0.9b).<br>

I have experienced problems with the sound in that for a period of time it seems fine and all sounds are crisp and clear and then for a few seconds say once a minute the sound gets very distorted before recovering.<br>

I have tried playing with the various menu settings to no noticeable affect. I thought it may be something to do with my operating system (used to be Windows ME) but I have recently upgraded to Windows XP and the same problem persists.<br>

Don't know if it might be my sound card but previous versions of ElectrEm (eg v0.3) seem to work fine, I would use these versions instead but obviously they have less functionality.<br>
