- Acorn Econet Computer Showcase: bring your Acorn computers, especially those with Econet interfaces, to showcase and discuss your setups.
- Econet Troubleshooting: Experienced members can offer guidance and assistance in diagnosing and solving problems on networking Acorn machines together.
- Multiplayer Gaming Sessions: Econet Elite anyone? Let’s get some multiplayer gaming sessions set up!

Other networking activities:-

- Bulletin Board : Stardot member BrianMartin runs the "Night Owl" Bullentin Board - let's see if we can connect to that or have it up and running at the meetup

I've also got hold of an entire collection of the Acorn User magazine as a PDF library. I'll make this available on the evening, so folks can search for articles, reviews etc across this library. Should be a useful resource to the group.

Think I can make it again.

I'd like to think I could resurrect my old MUD but it's written in old K&R C and modern compilers have a somewhat hard time with it, but who knows.

That would be cool to see that MUD running. I don't know anything about K&R C, but have you tried this?

Well, possibly if I were running it on a PDP11 under Unix v6 or v7, but no. It was originally developed on SunOS c1990. It really needs a big update to make it more ANSI C compatible - not hard, just takes time.

Cheers,

I will hopefully be there. Im training all day in the woods that day and there won't be time to go home in the middle. So if there's a bloke that looks like Stig of the Dump's less well-presented cousin and he's forgotten his Beeb, it is probably me!
