I've been having a load of problems with my Beeb since I got it a couple of months ago, but after spending the last few hours getting it to work again I'm now getting File not found when I do a Shift-Break, or when I *exec !boot or */menu
I can chain "file" and things run okay. Keyboard, joystick, sound all good.
It's a BBC B with MMFS.
Any ideas?
I don't know if it's hardware or software, so put it in here, as up to now it's all been hardware problems.

I did just load a menu once, then I reset, it didn't anymore, then put random text on the screen and its back to making a beep again.
I think I'm going to have to get someone to try to fix it.

an easy option would be, on your windows/Apple computer, get a fresh copy of beeb.mmb file and overwrite the one on your SD card
if you cant find one let me know and I'll send you a copy of mine

I thought of doing that, but it's doing it almost every time on any menu on any disk, though I've just had it work on a few.
I'll give it a go. Maybe something got corrupted that can affect more than just one menu.
Of course once I switch it off it may not work again for the rest of the night.
